All of these have no effect on the price, whether you have these or not the price would be the same.
If it's as nice as the picture then I'd say that's fair.
Nana
Despite being my only form of transport, I'm taking good care of it.
You can check the sig for more pics.
Looks very nice in the other pictures - first place I look is the front disc and banjo fittings - they rust faster than a fast thing so if they are in good condition ( which yours are ) then it's a good indication of the way the bike has been treated.
Good luck with the sale.
You might be as good to take some of the extra's off and Ebay them seperate.

Funny you should say that, the banjos were ok.
They f***ed up with the wrong bolts instead :D

Otherwise known as those ****ting things that hel put pointing the wrong way.
aye, yc had to stick the banjo connection in a vice and **** it with a hammer to get the hel lines to fit properly - still, not bad for half price :)

No I didn't, it had to be bent back with a spanner. Not exactly an operation I intend to repeat.

my bad.
basically, it was a bit like buying a dvd player and then having to drop a brick on it to get it to play bourne identity. He did a sterling job, but paying 90 quid and being sent the wrong lines on the first time (then lines which were correct but didnt fit because the banjo was bent the wrong way) is rubbish.
:) I'd have the curvy if i had the money :) its a stunner
I might know a taker for the screen aswell :D
Thanks for interest and PMs, but as you have managed to miss:
BIKE IS NOT FOR SALE!!!
ps
L1300 as it is? - dude, that's a f***g insult.

Whoever that is aimed at is offering a serious offer, that ain't no insult mate!
Got a few offers through PM, (why? have I said I'm selling?), "best" of which was 1300.
Joke.

no offence but if it's not for sale, why are you asking for a value?

I had an upgrade idea, and started wondering what I could expect to sell it for.
Just got annoyed by the offers made to me even though I mentioned I'm not selling.
Given the tlc and the the extra $$ on it (not to mention the hours I've spent working on it)... that just made me ...
Ehh... bad day....

iv got a k5 pointy with 4 thousand miles, all the extras listed in my sig and I think I'd be lucky to scrape 2300 for it in the current financial climate. You never get the full amount back on any mods/extras.
The best way of guaging what you can expect to get for your bike is to have a look at same age/spec bikes as yours. If there's only 1 similar to yours but with more mileage and less extras for say, #### quid, you can expect to sell yours for ### more than that maybe? But if there's 10 bikes all same age, similar mileage, some with more & some with less extra's= your average price will be in and amongst the prices of the others. It's all relative.
Oh and if it's winter you'll prolly get less for it since demand drops, and then rizes again for summer. I got mine with 500 miles on the clock for 2900 in the middle of december last year.

*walks off down the strand in london to find a beer for less than a fiver* :)
You mention you're not selling quite a long time after the original post. I don't get why you're annoyed by people offering you money either :)
In the end it's worth what someone somewhere will pay for it, and no more.
I'm curious as to what you had in mind though, you obviously have a figure in your head, and a cash offer of £1300 must fall significantly short of that.
Paul the 6th

with the extras in mind, im guessing he had somewhere around 1800 in mind? :)
if someone bought it for 1300 quid, it would be a bargain for the buyer - but its not for sale and he'd never accept 1300, so bleh bleh bleh.
If you read my pm to you again, in fact here it is for every one to see,
"
Hi mate I can go to £1350 for the bike as it is, if you are looking for a quick sale. I just missed out on a nice one on ebay a pointy 03 plate which I bid £1350 for but it went for £1370. Save you the hassle of advertising it. Im in Livingston so not a million miles away. Thanks for looking."
You will find it is not £1300 but £1350, and yes it was a serious offer and not an insult, granted I did miss the post saying it was not for sale, sorry about that, but this does not excuse your poor attitude towards me. Lighten up ffs.

seems a fair offer

on the flip side, if you think your bike is worth more than 1300 quid, atleast you're not in a position where you're trying to sell it & have to accept a low price out of neccessity. I'd rather hold on to a bike because I think it's worth more than have to sell one for a crap price because I need the cash
bris,
Probably you've had nothing but good intentions writing that, however I haven't said at any point it's for sale and later mentioned it is not.
Just a thing I personally don't like .
With this sort of prices the curvy will be staying with me for fair a bit longer (all bits of it :)), and you should be able grab yourself a bargain.
......(all bits of it :))......
so looks like i will have to resort to look over there and quickly ahem borrow it lol:rolleyes:! catch up with you on Tuesday mate hope your still going for a little play on Sat anyway.
Parker's guide says this: linky (http://www.parkers.co.uk/motorbikes/used-prices/Valuation.aspx?plate=70&deriv=5453)
I recently got £5 more than the good price on the guide for my '03, totally standard.

I'd say no offer's an insult. It's an offer, if you'd have been desperate then that would have been a bargain to someone and a lifeline to you.
"Would you like to sell your bike for £x?"
"No, thank you."
End of.

Parkers, what a load of rubbish.
Firstly it states that the frame is black and shows a picture of a pointy even though it says K2.
And struggles two up? Of course it does eh YC?

Tis fine 2 up, you've just got to cane it, but I do that on my own anyway...
Brakes as standard being a plus point? Who's been smoking crack?
I wish mine did 41mpg...
Chris, one thing...
I might be imagining things, but did I read somewhere on here that you're on 33 bhp?
