Just had my fish and chips (kiddies portion as im on a diet) and found the fish had been battered with paper on it! only noticed after i had eaten 90% of it but i thourght it was stodgy.
Soo should i pop down to chippy and tell em or just forget about it?
Depends if your still hungry, as they will no doubt only offer you more food.
It happens... do you still have the fish? Might get a free portion out of it if you take it back.

Are you sure it was paper? I cant see how it would've been wrapped in paper?
When the fish are layed up, sometimes they are kept apart with grease proof paper or something. Some might have stuck to it and it then got battered with the fish.

I never came across anyone doing that in 5 years of working in/running a few chippies

How many chippies sell flounder though? Cod, haddock and dogs are probably the only fish they've got defrosted in the fridge (or orange roughy or hokey if cod is in short supply at the mo)

Them chips are a perfect colour!
Could do with being abit drier, I imagine them to be abit raw in the centre.

Yeah the chips look ok but the batter is a bit dark which could be for a couple of reasons the usual one being burnt oil
