Manufacturers figures for optimism? Magazine tests?

Is that a question or suggestions? (That is a question!) ;)

A one stop shop site which directly compares.

Kinda suggestions.

Autotrader does give you a clue, but gives no credit for where that information is from.

And to be fair it doesn't really make that much difference... it's not like buying the latest GSYZR1000mentalba$tardRRR that it matters whether it's 180 or 180.1bhp... 0-60 is fairly academic above about 90bhp.

Ok fair enough - all bikes are the same.

I wouldnt attempt to justify my request but I'm knackered. :smt015

Well OK I think I made the point badly there, but I'd say you don't really need to look at a spec sheet, if you're looking for a sports 6 you know it'll probably have about 100bhp, do about 150mph, and 0-60 in what 3.5?

You know roughly what a bikes going to behave like, unless you just want direct comparison for pub ammo? :-P

Makes for some quite interesting comparisons, 04 sv650 v 03 gsxr600 in gear acceleration, and is anyone else surprised at some of the figures for the bmw's.
