ahh, so they are not both yours. For a moment I thought they were both yours. We need them both for all ours...lol. Got three in my shed, and the other 5 are up at his, in various places
Here is a shot of our shed showing my other half's K6(in red) and my dearly (sniff sniff) departed shiny silver K3 (replaced with an equally shiny K8 sport in metallic grey, hooray). The other handle bar belongs to Horace (don't ask!!)Jan's winter/bad weather hack.:smt026http://forums.sv650.org/picture.php?albumid=80&pictureid=473

Heh I have a Horace in my shed, but he's the cousin to Boris, my guard bug. A spider that I've been cultivating over the summer, he's about 3/4 the size of my hand now (well so it seems, I'm not brave enough to go messing with him) he doesn't mess with me and I don't mess with him, burglars are fair game. they have a corner each heh.
Will try and get a pic of the shed (and guard bugs) tomorrow

Just been built, ignore the garden around. Just has 2 tonne of concrete poured inside for a nice flat, solid base for Zuky !! Base cost more than the shed :(

I got carried away on the internet, could fit my car in if the doors where bigger :) have to find some new toys to fill it with LOL
:smt026 I have to landscape my garden and figured if quarter of it was shed it would be less work LOL
Don't forget to alarm it!!

How do you stop the condensation. Have you put vents in? My builder suggested I do.

Hein Gericke used to sell sandbag sized bags of silica gel. I've had one hanging in my shed for over 5 years now and it's kept it dry as a bone. Top stuff.

Go to B & Q and get some moisture trasp boxes, they have calcium chloride in them or something, it sucks up moisture like a sponge. I have about 5 of them in my shed over winter. They do work, but not obvious straight away
Mine has vents as well, but they don't so much:(

Cheers Dizzy/Woz better than going to the effort of vents and allowing the builder to give me anoher bill. B&Q in the morning ;)
This is my old garage, but my new one isn't as big....so I rented a second for the overspill. In the old garage I managed to squeeze 8 full size fully built bikes, 2 Suzuki TS50Xs in semi-dismantled state, plus a kid's off-roader and two minimotos in, and taht was after I'd acquired a huge filing cabinet to go in there too.
In this shot there's a Triumph Daytona 955i, Yamaha SR250, Kawasaki ZXR750, Suzuki SV650N, Honda CBR600F and a Suzuki GSXR750 in the bottom right under a cover, plus workbench, toolchests, fridge freezer, 3 dustbins full of coal, a pile of tyres from floor to ceiling, mountain bike and god knows how many random bike spares and there's plenty of room to spare.

Mr C, the state of that shed has given me the screaming abdabs. How can you let it get so untidy?

12-10-08, 09:58 AM
i can see your point, its a thieves paradise ain't it, weve had security threads and allsorts on here with people telling all.
xXBADGERXx
12-10-08, 10:04 AM
Yeah LOL , "Here is a map of where I live , some basic Security Devices , and some pictures too" , then again , are thieves ever actually likely to use the net to check out stuff like this . They are more likely to be local Scunners , scouting about for an opportunistic Bike . My KTM was stolen on the very day I just happened to actually do an extra shift at work , a Night that I was always in on a regular basis . Mere coincidence or insider knowledge ?
kwak zzr
12-10-08, 10:10 AM
makes you wonder don't it? u can source allsorts tho off net, we have a "where you live" map on here! combine that with facebook info and photos and a clever thief (if there is one lol) has an easy job on tap.
best to write on public forums that you have a really big dog or a really fierce wife lol.

Well I would annoy the thiefs, I have a shed but my bike is kept somewhere else, they would open the door to nuffin ! Ha
My new garage, it's a bit tidier than the last one. Yes that is a very clean GPZ750 Turbo (for sale), and no that is not my CBR600 looking like it has been end to end rolled through a field, it's my mate's that has been end to end rolled through a field.

lozzo i see a strong lack of autosol and wd40!!!!
There are 3 cans of WD40 on the shelf just above the Turbo's left mirror (1 big, 2 small) and Autosol is in the metal tray left bottom under the bench behind the container of MER polish you can see

Mine's a working garage, hence it has a workbench, vice and toolchests. Furious polishing is for those who don't get enough sex.
