Scooter boys dont count...
They are the enemy!!
(Well they were in the 70's!)

No L-plates (but he may have passed his test early enough). Do I also remember him riding a duke around the Monaco F1 circuit? May have been on Motorworld, not TG.

Whose the mic' for ??
Whose the mic' for ??
The helmet looks like a £620 OMP Rally helmet with built in intercom.......probably just his normal helmet for car testing etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I remember him saying that he'd ridden a bike before in an old top gear interview (I think he mentioned being on a ducati monster which is hard to believe).
I also recall an old Clarkson's motorworld series where he was in India riding round on a scooter.

"Clarkson chose to wear an open-faced helmet, tinted skiing goggles and bright red gloves."
What teh f*ck?

He also rode around the Monaco F1 circuit on a Ducati 916

Even if you passed your car test before 1997? you need L plates for a 50cc an CBT + L plates for a 125. So (+ other comments of riding a real bike) sounds like he's passed his bike test.
I wish Top Gear was on & he would have to answer for this, surely Hamster & May wouldn't let it lie.

Mr Clarkson is a total hypocrite.
I knew it all along.
The fraud.

and why is the mic pointing at his nose?
cause he talks out of his ar5e?
Actually, Clarkson doesn't hate bikes.
He hates the noise of an IL4 screaming past his house like they do every weekend, but doesn't mind those "ducati things"
He's also happy to move over and let a bike past.
Its just May and Hammond ride bikes, so he flames them to wind those two up.
Read an interview purley about the subject of bikes and clarkson.

Cant say I blame him for that tbh.
He did ride a Ducati round the F1 circuit but he scared himself pretty badly I think he said. Someone who has Youtube might be able to find something?

Does anyone care to know that Clarkson is two years YOUNGER than me!!
looks about ten years OLDER!!
Steve
Don't think Hammond will let something like that go in the new series without having a dig at him :D
If I remember May and Hammond both did that scooter thing around London where they drove people home so I'm sure they all have bike licences.
More the merrier

Doesn't have the sense to wear the right gear either...
If I'm not mistaken James May rides a speed triple and Hammond a fireblade
I thought Hammond had a Gixxer seven fiddy? And James was into his classics...i am probabily wrong though :D

He's the same age as me. He smokes like a chimney, so looks haggard, and he looks like he could lose a few stone too. I can't stand the man and I don't watch TG cos I don't like him.
According to wiki Hammond has - 1150GS, Harley and GSXR1000

I'm pretty sure I've seen snaps of him on a toothpaste gixxer at a track too. He supposedly did about 130 on it down the straight, but "didn't see what the fuss was about".

Oh and I've seen him riding a C90 (IIRC) on an old top gear set in a country out in asia somewhere where they all ride scooters and he was saying how it worked far better than everyone driving cars.
Well... here's his review... he's not exactly raving about his experience!

That's cus he's a old moaner... and while the whole thing annoyed me, it wouldn't be him it he was happy about it.
Bloody steering wheel... the fool. Yes I know its just bait me...
Is Clarkson a troll?

He certainly knows what buttons to push to get a reaction. :D
They are breading more of them on Clarkson Island (Recent Harry and Paul Sketch, very very funny!)
