Yes you can, I would suggest calling and asking but I can't see it being a problem,

I can't see how they're ever going to know, unless you tell them.

Personally that would be a bit 50/50 I've been to some that just look to see that you have a pink bit of card with your photo on... then others (MSV springs to mind) that scrutinise the licence...

Certainly not on an MSV track, bear in mind that even if organised by someone else if at an MSV track it'll be MSV that would check them and still have to obay MSV rules.

You used to be able to, now you can't.

I went on a No-Limits trackday the other day ... at signing on, I took my licence ... to my amazement they didn't even ask for it/want to check!!

... my first time with NL ... but before that point I have NEVER NOT had my licence checked (or at lest glanced at to make sure the name was the same) at a trackday ... and I must have done dozzens by now with a fair few different TD providers ...

I was most surprised they didn't even seem to want to see it ...

Careful though, MSV circuits booked through Hottrax still need a FULL license (So you'd be OK at Anglesey, Croft, Donington Park, Knockhill, Lydden, Mallory Park, Rockingham or Silverstone)

Misinterpretation? Depending on how you look at it a restricted licence is a full licence and a provisional on the other hand is not a full licence.

Many 33bhp riders have ridden on virtually all the UK tracks. I know of one guy who has been honest with the organisers from the beginning and he has been on every track bar one I believe (he has not had the time to ride this yet).

I know people that have done the same, they regularly go to cadwell etc which is MSV. and have been on most tracks with more companies than just hottrax.

I rang No Limit up the other day to check this.

The very kind man on the phone said you CAN do trackdays on a 33bhp licence except at MSV tracks (Cadwell, Snetterton, Oulton, Brands).

Hope this helps

Then how come there are people on here, and out there, that have participated in track days with a 33bhp licence on MSV tracks?

That's what I was told... I'm only relaying it to you guys here.

Dangerous Dave, what's your problem with the paper?

Dangerous Dave

This is now another new up and coming Honda with a V4, the model changes every year (Blackbird, Blade, VFR (which went V5/V4/V5), and the new models). The thing that bugs me is it is always reported as 'fact'.

MCN is good paper, but only sections! Another good point is the outrage MCN caused on here when we were asked what was the best products for SV's and then they added your own. Is MCN trying to become a political party by any chance?

I am not aiming this at you Liam, I apologise if that is how it comes across, but a publication that claims to first with the facts does spend most of its time publication rumours with a key word in the literature missing "RUMOUR".

From what I gather a lot of people chance it, most without a problem.
