If someone has a copy of PB Sept 2008 issue, could they take some digital pics of the three tyre pics on page 35 for me? The print in my copy is all screwed and I can't read any of the text.

Thanks! :D
Luke

I have that copy and that worried me at the time :(

The left side of my rear tyre has, according to what I can make out from that article 'Excessive graining/cold tearing'????

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v634/graemepaterson/rockingham/DSCF0590.jpg

But the right hand side of the tyre is completely fine and has the correct graining etc

Should get another trackday out of this set yet I would have thought!!! But that article makes you think otherwise.

I wouldn't worry about the left hand side of that tyre too much. I'd say that was more heavy graining than cold-tearing (caveat I KNOW NOTHIN)

Which circuit was that at?

I'll try and get a couple of pics of my tyres after Lydden, personally I think they're dead now :D

National layout at rockingham....left side is cold mainly except for the big section of lefts.

Supposed to be a fairly dodgy practice that lol

I buy all my tyres 2nd hand off eBay (too tight to buy new tyres for trackdays) ... as most UK tracks are predominately RH turns, generally the RHS is more fecked than the left on the tyres I buy ... so I always mount mine the wrong way round so I get to use the - what was LHS on the RHS … 8)

Its not like the 'corsas I use have any tread anyway!! :D
