My new (secondhand) camera turned up yesterday, so I thought I would ride through the park and try it out on the way home. It's only a little Canon IXUS, but beats the hell out of my even older IXUS. Plus I got the underwater housing which was the big draw! I'm very impressed with the quality and at 140 pounds including the underwater bits, a pretty sweet buy!

Usually I hate carbon fibre randomly stuck to bikes, but in this case it is my cheap fix to cover up my dented and scratched tank! Looks pretty good in my opinion and beats spending $1500 on a new tank!

my next bike is going to be a 675 simply because of these pictures. How is it on your wrists? I've heard it's a 'very focused' bike i.e. when sat astride the bike, your ar$e is higher than your hands. I'm 6ft 3 - would I struggle? :D

Don't believe what you read in the papers.

I'm 5'11" in old money (1.79m) and I have no problems on my 675. No your **** will not be higher than your hands.

Luke - it's so clean... really cool. But then I would say that wouldn't I:D

so I've got about 10 inches on you? I'll be having a test ride :) A mate of mine similar height was the one who mentioned about the seat vs bars

Is it a 'rego' (Australian combined tax/mot/3rd party insurance)?

I'm 6ft and don't have a problem. It totally depends on how you ride/sit on the bike. I personally find it more roomy than my old R6 because I can really push my bum back and lean forward taking the weight off your wrists. You don't have to go into a full on racing crouch, but humping the tank and sitting bolt upright is going to take it's toll on you wrists on any sportsbike.

I haven't washed in in about 2 months! Just doesn't rain here much. Don't look too closely at the back wheel, it's covered in chain lube

Actually 3rd party is separate, but like road tax in the UK, you can only get your rego when you have 3rd party insurance. Annoyingly, only a few companies offer this CTP insurance, so I actually have 2 insurance policies - 1 for the rego and another that covers me fully comp.

The tube is a neater design than standard, which is a 5"x3" label that people often mistake for an L plate!
