Of course, my kids are an important part of my life and I love them to bits. I'll miss them while they're away.

No **** Sherlock. I kinda guessed that when I looked at the empty armchair you'd have been sitting in ;)

That makes sense then. Mine went away for a week during summer with husband, and I had to stay home. Missed them like mad too.

Just set up some stuff you can't normally do with them about, the time will fly by.

I'll find out when Housie hasn't got his kids over, so we can slob out with booze and pizzas all night, or all bugger off into town on the lash with the lads.

My daughter is off to Berlin tomorrow and I can't wait! FREEDOM, work on the bike everyday and then a long ride when I finish and no worries to race back, perhaps even have tea at a pub. Yippeee!

Well, ok, I will miss her, but need to make the most of the week, she'll be back on Friday!

Good god yes, they'll be out pulling blokes left right and centre, and why not - they are two cracking looking blonde teenagers on holiday, getting laid is what it's all about and bloody good luck to them. I'm sure we'd all do the same so why should my girls be any different?

Not really, I'm just about still young enough to remember what it was like being a teenager. I'm under no illusions as to what my kids are like, they're no different to millions of other kids in this country - they have the same feelings and urges as any other kid their age and who am I to deny them the same fun I had at their age, and believe me, I had a bloody good time.

When my ex was the same age as my youngest daughter she was already pregnant with Caz, my eldest daughter. You don't get pregnant by sitting in every night watching the Professionals and Coronation Street.

I'm bloody pleased in some ways that my kids are active in that way, at least they aren't growing up with hang-ups that will affect them mentally in years to come.
