Where to start?Beginning I think.
I had a car accident in March ,and luckily for me the 3rd party was insured by the same company as myself. At lest this ment that whatever happened ,there would be no hassel about which insurance was to pay out.Plus the 3rd party admitted blame.
My van has been repaired and now I am under an insurance paid physio.
I have also been to see a specialist who has confirmed that my arm problems would have been caused by the bump, and that he epects me to make a full recovery within 10 mths,of physio starting.
My solicitors have said that in similar cases ,The payout is normaly in the region of £2500 .and they have asked me if I want to

1:Ask the insurance for a payment of £2750(and ecspect to be knocked down)

2; Send the doctors note to them and delay settlement untill the tretment is over.

3 :send no dr report but demand another Drs Report.

My shoulder seems much better ,but my lower arm doesnt seem to have improved at all ,and to be honest I dont have much faith in what the physio is doing.
What do you recon?Take the money and run ,or play the long game and wait.Thoughts welcome

I'd play the long game, make sure you know the full extend of your injuries and also the recovery time. Then you can make an apporpiate claim based on what you know.

if you take the money now and it gets worse and effects you more in the long term you may not be able to file a second claim, once its been settled.

+ 1. my injury claim took three and a half years to come through because I hung out to see what my recovery would be. I was v demanding with the NHS because they kept fobbing me off with painkillers and I couldn't afford to go private. As it turned out, I was more seriouslty injured that first tohught, so an early payout would have missed that. So was worth it in the end and helped pay to get my teeth fixed, some private osteopathy etc.
