thought i would put this to the all knowing org.

every year at about this time i take it apon my self to organise a get together / night out for all my mates as we don't see each other as much as we used to when we didn't have WAGs / kids / jobs / responsibilities.

the last 3 years have been a great success, we have had a go karting GP, a night out at the dog track and a trip to a comedy club all have been a great tmie and fun was had by all.

however i am at a loss of what to do this year.

So answers / ideas on a post card!

Cheers.

Paintballing? Always a guaranteed laugh! Bit messy though.

+1 - although make it more fun by arranging some stupid prices for things like best/worst player, most entertaining scream, funniest moment etc.

Or Trackday???

i know youve done go karting, but that wins for banter!! anything where there are winners and looser will be good for a group of guys :D

Paintballing is a good laugh, but its more of a daytime sport, this is an evening type thing.

Track day is out, as its only really me and my bro that ride bikes.

all good ideas so far tho.

when? i see you're in swindon, bath racecourse isn't a million miles from you. they have meetings on friday 12th and saturday 13th december. i organise about 3 or 4 a year for the lads, do a few quizes in the pub near the course, play a couple of games of killer pool/darts, lucky numbers, keeps the boys entertained! then onto the racing.

hire a party bus
race night - if yu have a local racecourse

i'll see what else there is in my files

A night out at York Hall in Bethnal Green watching the boxing followed by a few hours in Metropolis then on to Brick Lane for a ruby.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the karting, dogs, comedy club in previous years; they would normally be my first choices too. A high ropes course is very good fun too. I went to one of this lots sites at the weekend and thought it was good VFM and you were comparatively left to get on with it after the briefing, unless you asked for help.

I'm pants at climbing and have completely the wrong build for it (although I can do it), but found it great fun.
