If that's a write-off then mine should have been written off about 3 times :D What happened?
Good you're ok, what happened?
Get it fixed!
There's a silver tank in the for sale section, he says he's got some fairing parts too (mudguard is mine!)

There actually a silver curvy tank in the for sale section. That looks to be the biggest bit of damage TBH. Rest is scratches unless I missed summat?

From an insurance point of view, that would be a writeoff ... but from a do-it-up-yaself job, it only looks like flesh wound ... you could sort out the headlight and front brake leaver and it'd be ridable ...

At some point I will have a Silver curvy tank for sale, I've got 2, one needs slight cosmetic work the other needs a small dent (50p size) and a few scratches. But nothing like yours.
Let me know?
Glad you're ok 8-)

Yes it'll probably be a write off, but you should be able to buy salvage and repair it.

You can buy it back and get it on the road for a fraction of the above cost mate. Keep an eye on eBay and most of the parts will come up.

Why would you want to buy the environmental protection act? And more curiously why would you want to fit one to your bike?
Let them write it off and pay you out, then buy salvage.

Or you can learn something about bikes and spannering, and have the satisfaction of having put the bike back on the road yourself ;)
It doesn't look like it needs much to be rideable, then you can slowly spend out as and when you want to, and get it back to how it was, or change it into what you want ;)

Fair enough. Prioritise what you need to be safely on the road, find out how much you can get everything for (eBay/for sale section/Dealer), and then take it from there :)

That tank... just weld something on, pull the dents and spray over any scuffs to stop it rusting. Rest of it is bits and bobs.
