View Full Version : For tea/dinner I ate...
ALL the pie...

Oh yes - the pie, the whole pie. It was delicious. That wonderful flaky puff pastry top - mmmmmmm. Also delicious was the rather large portion of mashed potato complete with 'butter river' not unlike a veritable tsunami cascading slowly as though discharging lava-like from a miniature white volcano. I also enjoyed a 'medley of seasonal vegetables'.
Yum.
Did I mention that I ate the WHOLE pie?
Thankyou. You may now move on to the next thread.

At this point I feel that I must confess...mine was also Steak & Mushroom. I was unable to find that picture within the timescale that my brain had alloted prior to tedium arising - therefore the other pie was submitted. Same stuff inside - almost. Actually, I don't recall finding any mushrooms :(.
The WHOLE pie? and butter mash? Call the coronary ward now, they can get the bed ready for you...
I had this with rice.

Come to think of it, neither do I:D
You eat those pies for the pastry, anyway.................especially that gooey layer under the crispy crust:p
Hovis - interesting. Looks tasty. My concern here is that do you always take a photo of your dinner on the off chance that somebody will start a suitable thread whereupon you can merrily submit an image of your own (it has to be said) delightful creation? :smt048

You have a boudoir...nice. With all that wind perhaps the spinnaker will get raised and suitably inflated - or something:smt112

Finda`s Crispy Pancakes , oh my god they`re like shoe leather . And Fray Bentos Pies , Dog food rates higher on my list than those things . I had chicken in Arrabiata sauce on a bed of Meditteranean vegetables with some Garlic and Herb Tagliatelle on the side ..... and a nice steaming mug of Douwe Egberts coffee :D
