View Full Version : FOR SALE: 2000 Black SV650s - JUST 3950 miles
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/770316.htm
As above. Any interest? :smt112
Looks lovely, can i ask how much the system set you back by any chance?
sorry, it was on there when i bought it luckily enough. i should imagine it was around £700 as that seems to be the going rate for a full system.
still for sale.
Is £1850 overpriced considering the mileage and the it comes just serviced, with 1yrs tax and 1yrs MOT? I thought it was fair but maybe im out of touch.

Lovely bike, but I don't think anyone will pay that at the moment. Also micron systems aren't so desirable, they aren't as good for power as others on the market. Not £700 anyway. An M4 system is £550 which is one of best on market.

it comes with the standard system too. Not as good for power? you wouldnt buy an SV if you was looking for power surely?! :p
Hmm, i thought that was fair considering there was a 1999 blue one on here that sold for £1600 and had around 20k on it. Oh well, if it doesnt sell at least ive got a winter hack to run through the winter.

Well you didn't sell it on ebay 2 months ago at £1750 so why you would think later in the year and with everyone a bit short of readies anyone would pay a hundred quid more is a bit odd to me.

Jumjum sold his Black curvy on ebay recently, ok not as low miles and without the system but that went for £1400 I believe.
Looks like you've got a bit of a hard decision to make.
All the best.

Yeah but look on a year ago. I sold a 99 curvey for £1800.
I thought there were rules in the for sale section...?

The OP posed a point in post 6 plowsie. My reply is a response to that.

Funny, I don't see the question asking for advice if it is too high priced though

Indeed it has had a minor price increase - however since that ad it has been taxed and will be MOTed for the new buyer both for a year. Thats £100 i believe.... I can get a refund on the tax and give it to you with a short MOT if you like? Then you can go home and pay the same for it again and have the hassle of it too - its up to you.
This post may be redundant after the weekend anyway..... i have 2 viewers lined up. ;)
