30mph zone

Look at the severity of the damage, pole through the firewall, totally removed the engine, this was a VERY big and very fast hit.

Will we see this on Police Camera Action? :lol:

Mental.....you can see the lamppost bent for about 2m - 3m coming out of the passenger door.

Great way to destroy £35k of tax payers money lol

I couldn't even identify the car until I saw the badge on the bonnet. Lamp-posts are dangerous folks - we should set up a database, get their dna, guilty until proven innocent, and detention without charge.

Madness!!!!!!!!!! Last time i saw a lamp post in that state I was 10 and at legoland ha ha.

Glad I wasn't the operator in that car, feck me. Looks like an RT car so would have hit that post very hard knowing how fast these get driven too....

You think our lamposts are dangerous, they're nothing compared to an Aussie stobie pole. These are two lengths of railway sleeper welded together at an angle and then filled with concrete.

They do this to cars and don't even bend

That happened a while ago, cant remember when. I it also happened in the Brixton, London area and its a Trojan gun car which are heavy and tooled up!!

I dont know the outcome of the driver/passengers.
