the traffic in and out of Guildford is bad enough at the best of times but late night shopping will be starting soon. i was wondering can we try a new pub outside of Guildford (no suggestions on this as i haven't a clue Law suggested one in Shalford) Parking is becoming a problem already. either that or we move the meet to another day again until January!

just a thought guys let me know what you think

I remember the pub now.

It is:

The Parrot Inn
Broadford Rd
Shalford
GU4 8DW

http://www.parrotinn.co.uk/index.html

2 miles from the centre of Guildford, next to the river on the road adjoining Peasmarsh and Shalford. Haven't been inside but it looks big and has it's own car park (23 spaces judging from google satellite).

On another note, I'm not sure if I'll make it on time to another meet due to a new 6pm weekday finish and commute back through the world's longest carpark. I'll find out how long it'll actually take tomorrow.

So feel free to go to the Ely instead. :)

how aboutthe 4 horseshoes in Chobham? Or The Worplesdon Place As a compromise from where Westside posse come from but still staying marginally as the Guildford Massive? i.e. if it's the Ely then I probably wouldn't bother.
Parrot sounds fine Gary, but is that not even further for the wingers ;)

+1, it's over an hour's drive/ride each way even with no traffic.

Pretty busy until Christmas so would prob only make two or three meets anyway so don't worry about us.

I will be not attending any meets for the foreseeable, just don't get back from work early enough. Unless of course you chaps do an Ely then it's only down the road so I could pop my head in. I want to have another section........the Tri County Massive!

You could always try The Shire Horse in Maidenhead every other Tuesday (this Tuesday is a meet night).
