You're :batman: :D
And no - going to a "Watch the American Election " party.
Not sure I can quite see the point of watching votes being counted - sounds a bit like sitting through the entire Football results.
Obama 1 - Mcain 0 and repeat for several hours with variation & added "What do we think they voted in Denver" pointless pontification.

Ohh. Envious. NOT.
Room full of journos too.
On the bright side Bourbon's American...

I really want to watch the election, but the way I figure it is that the interesting stuff is surely only going to happen at about past midnight for us isn't it? They are 8 hours behind, and also ened all day to vote before counting, then the results trickle in.
Seein as the weather is nice tomorrow, I will probably ride down, then come back and wathc the election afterwards. Andy, you joining me and Phill?

I'd like to as I want to test my new lights, but I failed to put my bike back together over the weekend. If I can get it done by candlelight tonight then I'll be up for it. If not i'll have to go down in the car. I'll let you know tomorrow.

First polls close at 11pm UTC so there won't be any results whatsoever before then. Unless it's a landslide, the result won't be called before California, Washington and Oregon close at 4am UTC (73 electoral votes in total).
That's going to be one long party. Personally, I'll settle for checking the results when I get up around 7.

Yeah, so basically a load of guff ALL night long, with excitement early the next morning.
Andy, if you go in the car, gimme a lift! Then I can drink! And Phill! hahaha
Weather is good for tomorrow is it? I could well have a (not such) surprise pillion.

I wouldn't use the term 'good' as its grey and a bit drizzly but more importantly its no lower than 9°C, so no ice and snow!
Look forward to the surprise pillion then......and some hobbits?!?

Cool, I hope the pillion is who I think it might be! I thought the weather was clear and 9 degrees even. Should be fine. Especially if I am in Andy's car

Well you might very well be in luck cos its drizzling and I'm getting wet. Also I've lost a bracket that I need and the airbox is a right fiddle to get on in the dark. I'm missing riding my bike! :( Last time I rode it, it was summer!
Blimey that must have been a very very long time ago. Like it's been years since we had anything you could call a Summer.

Well that warm, sunny, sunday in Brighton seemed a bit like summer.
I failed to get my bike back together so I'm coming down the 'horse' using diesel power.
Mr. Hog, Mr. But, fancy a lift?

effing A! Biking is fun, but getting a chauffeur driven BMW lift and several pints of London Pride is funner
My house? When? You know where it is?

Cheers dudes for a most enjoyable evening! Nice to meet you, Debs.
Bad boy brad is very amusing..... I have the same women problem too, they're always using my razor, or eating my chocolate, or burning out my rear tyre!
