I have to agree, also thanks to all the girls who have contacted me with kind words, warm hearts and fast wit.
You know who you are, every word was appreciated and every kindness welcomed. Shucks... I love you lot.

Hmm... in no particular order:
Blue, top bloke in person and sold me my first bike and always there to give me advice no matter how banal my questions are.
Stewie for giving me a restrictor kit for the above bike at no cost, still owe him a pint!
AndyB for selling me my second bike with front-end swap done which I have put about 10k on since April. If I could carry it on my back, I would, it's like a second home and set up perfectly for me (apart from squidgy shock).
SVRAsh for selling me an engine, spare fairings and a tank for when I was going to do my old bike up and sell it, also we've had numerous chats on everything ranging from washing machines to bikes to fishing.
YC for also answering my banal questions, would definitely consider riding up to Leeds for next service time as seems like such a decent bloke.
Also Northwind has answered some questions I've had in the past; Kent to Scotland is a long way but I'm hoping to do it for next year's Ecosse.
I've been here over a year now and occasionally come on and drunkenly ramble in the idle banter section, I love this place and it's the only forum for me.

Lissa... found for me a place (here in the US...no less) that sold the correct fairing decal for my bike.
Thanks again!!! I owe you one!
Lots of others... for the kind words after I got all busted up in a highside in July.
....and just about everyone else here for being so nice.
The .org is the best forum on the net!

Flamin Squirrel, although he'd like you to beleive otherwise, is a lovely guy who helped me swap my front end when I had a crash years ago.
aadeyc53 has broken a whole curvey and helped out many forum members for very cheap prices and deserves a mention.
And of course my wife Philbut who has done most mechanical things on my bike with me.

Rictus - Mechanical tips and letting me have a rear light unit for my point cheap after mine started playing up shortly before an MOT.

Everyone who I've met on rideouts for generally being good warmhearted folks as is only typical of the .org
Kilted Ginger for giving me a few sets of earplugs on the Ecosse rideout.
Rigor for putting together that funny .gif file of DizzyB 'cos I didn't have the knowhow, didn't even ask the chap he just asked!
Anna for providing me with my now well-worn-but-still-great buffalo jacket a while back, very attached to that now!

Bear... for molesting me.
I'm going to thank Bear for not molesting me:cheers: but being a very nice bear by helping me put Im Indoors in the tent the right way round at AR08, if it wasn't for him my tent would have been broken. It was very hard to man handle a drunk hipless bloke with a walking stick, at the best of times......and that was right way up.!! AWWW thanks cuddly bear:mrgreen:

Sid Squid - for endless technical advice, fixing of bits with welders and other tools I'm not allowed in the house and general advice on life

All the bosses- Kevin Jones RIP, before my time but I wish I'd met him... Admin John Tapley, Jonboy, and of course Fizzwheel, who is in this list twice because he's the MAN. Without these people there would be no .org, so worship them  There's too many other admins, mods and techies who deserve a mention.
Technical-wise- Sid Squid is the man... He can diagnose faults I can't find myself from the other end of the country  And Zadar basically made my bike possible. 21Quest, Rictus, SVRAsh, Mike numbers and... what was his name, PeteTong? All for help and inspiration to commit madness upon a perfectly good motorcycle. And Bartyboy and Big Al for all the help with paint. Lots of others here but those guys are the ones I owe a lot to.
And non-technical stuff- Pete and Lissa for putting us up on the way to the AR and for doing so much to get the Massacre going... Mr and Mrs Luckypants for offering the same on the way back, though we didn't have to take it up. Blue Flame for randomly inspiring me to ride to the far end of the country 3 times. And everyone who I've just met and said hello to, right up to everyone who I've met and become real friends with, this site is great. Naming no names here. Oh, and Blue Flame, Cronos, Kitkat, Dirty Baz and SVTonyB, all of whom have at one point or another picked my bike up for me
The entire AR08 team- this one especially because it was such madness along the way but went off perfectly! Obviously special credit to Viper and Fizzwheel here, but there were loads of people involved.
The entire AR07 team
And the entire AR06 team.
You all know who you are. I've never known anything quite like the AR, it's such a brilliant event and it doesn't just happen, it's months of hard work for the guys involved.
Tiger 55
05-11-08, 09:43 AM
Jim @55 for fixing my Scottoiler when I'd just joined the Org and neither he nor anyone else knew me from Adam.
Northwind, YC, Spannerman, Sid Squid and anyone else who can be trusted to provide useful answers to stoopid technical questions. You've saved me so much money on mechanics bills I almost feel I should buy you a pint. Almost.
Dicky Ticker and his Essex Lounge bitches for making me feel welcome on their pilgrmages north and showing me new roads in my own backyard.
Everybody who has put their own time and effort into organising a rideout, social, tour or massacre that I've attended and who I probably forgot to thank at the time. (Hope you read this.)

Sid Squid and Bear armed and ready to fix a possible puncture in my rear tyre at the ace cafe.
Unfortunatly, whilst I got away with it, Soulkiss didnt :( but you know, it was so nice to see everyone prepared to help out other people. It was the first time i'd met any orger's that day
Pete and Lissa for being so kind and apologetic for scaring me at AR08. They ride pretty fast, but they are very considerate
Dan aka wrc63 for telling loadsa people about my degree result on the first night of AR08. I thought that was pretty nice. I think he was too drunk to know what I got the degre for though
I got a mention *Warm and fuzzy feelings*
Steady on there T, U rated forum this tha knows! :p
 ;)
In all honesty I could in the past 4 years have a list longer that I would want to write.
So I'll short cut it.
Rictus for rebuilding my SV in my absence.
Everyone else who donated parts in the cause.
The thing is, everyone on this site is willing to do what they can for another member. That is what makes this site unique to all the others out there. Fact.
timwilky
05-11-08, 03:51 PM
I think Quiff needs a mention here.
He makes us all look perfectly normal and sane.
My Jan (Briddo) stumped up the cash to help me get all my sv's , I can't thank her enough. But here on the org in public I say FANKOO, FANKOO, and FANKOO again.:smt008
hmm
Blueflame - for telling me not to be so stupid all those years ago
kitkat - for being another female as nutty as me
Northy - for being himself and understanding
and IP for being him and letting me be me! LUL
the ecosse posse for being the most unruly lot despite me trying to tame them all (its great fun really)
as for the rest of the .org
:rave:
it wouldn't be the same without you
Rictus for coming all the way across town after his off on a scooter to show me how to straighten up my front end after my first .Org crash, realising it wasn't going to work and lending me the front end of the Fruit Salad machine.
Sid Squid for helping me get the forks straightened and knowing where to do it.
Rictus for showing me how to do my first service on a bike ever
Sid Squid for putting up with endless technical questions that generally start with "I was working on this bolt and it snapped..."
Sid Squid for then fixing my broken bikes
Raf for riding off to the front of the pack after my "Sarah's bum" crash and subsequently crashing, therefore robbing me of the yellow jersey before we'd even invented it...
Sid Squid for twice spending 12-14 hours removing the engine from my kwak only for something out of our control to go wrong and knacker it.
Rictus for lending me the CB750 until I get the kwak running again (and all those others who offered, teriyakimonkey, Jambo etc.)
Sid Squid for (hopefully) at some point in the near future doing (hopefully) less than 12-14 hours putting in the third and (hopefully) final engine into the kwak
(hopefully)
For Paws for 2 big reasons. She knows what I mean (and any who have met her or seen her across a room will also know...)
Treacle for putting up with the previous comment without stabbing me
You lot for somehow allowing me to molest all of you without the hint of a lawsuit or restraining order
The ladies of the org for filling my "spank bank"
The men of the org for emptying my "spank tank"
And most of all, me for being generally brilliant at everything.
I rock.
Biker Biggles
06-11-08, 09:42 PM
Blue SV for the epic thread teaching Nadine how to overhaul her electrics.
Timwilky for being the grumpiest git on the org,but who I know is actually a fine generous type who I still owe a beer to.
And any org pedant who wishes to explain the grammatical errors of the above sentence.
jumjum_0214

The .org is a proper biking community with lots of friendly faces and people who are always willing to help out!!! ;-)
The best forum full stop :-)
I would like to thank 3 people:
Rictus, thanks for all your advice on the Triumph.
Kwakzzr for selling my friend the CG, thus getting her on the road.
And finally Jabba (who probably won't remember) but the summer of 2006, when I was being made redundant and in my final few depressing days at work, made me laugh so much that my collegues wondered what I was up! Jabba, top of the page!!!!!!!!!
Cheers all of you!
