Right i went out on the bike today to pay a cheque in the bank
To start off with i had a flat battery and i had bump start the bike down the road.
Then i thought to myself i will go for a small bimble to get the charge back in the bike. On the way through Maidenhead on the A4 i came across where they have had a car boot sale and dragged the muddy field onto the road (brown pants time)
Then i thought right i will go home now though Slough. I was filtering up to a set of lights which had just turned to green and then 2 guys just walked out in front of me! Locked up the back wheel and they then gave me LOADS of attitude. So me being all nice decided to give them Lots of verbal back.
Now really thinking that i am having a bad day i just got on the M40 to go home
Almost there and a old boy in a 4x4 decides to pull out in front of me again giving me brown pants
Now i have put the bike away and on its paddock stand only to come out in April!!!!
Unless this is just a one off!
Anyone else had a nightmare time lately?
Blimey you had your fill today for sure. A bit drastic I feel however to put it into storage for 4 months.
I lost the front on black ice the other day and took a slide down the road. But I did have a bit of a laugh about so wouldn't really say it was a nightmare.
Jerry, I would say you have had a good day. You managed to get the bike home with no damage to you or the machine.
you did what ????:smt107
you rode a bike through slough........now that's just silly..:smt104
most people cant drive and most dont even have a licence and
people walking across the road without looking.......
last week i had a group of lads crossing the road last one had a mobile stuck to his ear...saw me coming and carried on crossing at a snail pace.....
was wondering why i was shouting 2 points motherfxxxer as i rode past ..:smt082

2day was awful for me aswell!
Out to cobham where i had my crash, and some absoluteeeee mug is going far to fast on the wrong side of a country lane, had to almost put it in a ditch to save myself. Then the hole way to guilford mud and traffic, getting cut up( some how one person went straight over a grass roundabout and come off it next to me) my life flashed before my eyes. When i can back to the bike in town some one had taken my right mirror clean off !
I only just got it back with new forks, and a huge repair bill.
God hates me.
dont say god hate you....
if he did, he would have taken both wing mirrors off...:smt082

I had proper road rage to those two idiots who walked out in front of me
never felt like that before (wanted to tell them exactly how i felt about them)
you watch i will be out by tuesday!
jerry next time your going through slough, give me a bell.......
i'll escort you through....ha ha ha ah ha..
i'm not saying slough have shyt drivers but they all seem to be here...

Blimey, that is a bad day. I had a slip on ice a few days back as well. Was cursing the bike gods that day but now that the bike is fixed at the cost of just 1 mirror and bar end it's not so bad. However, I did manage to blow up my LCD TV, Dreamcast, Gamecube and PS2 the other day. I was not amused so put a hole in the TV. And now my hand really hurts.

i think you're pretty lucky. after all of that you report no damage or injuries. i hit ice this morning, didn't see it coming at all. wobbled and danced like crazy, for almost 10 secs (it was a straight long patch of black ice). thought i would bail for sure, but somehow stayed up. consider myself lucky and rode very carefully for the rest of the morning.
