You'll get a few more BHP if you rejet to suit, you might notice the motor spins up a little better to.
I suspect you'll notice it, but at that price I'd be inclined to go for it.

The Akra system isn't really a performance system.
The weight saving and quality might be worth having and the carbon fibre exhaust hanger is gorgeous. The ability to be able to take it all off easily and polish it up is handy, but the original akra can is a bit long.
M4 system is better but looks pants IMO.

No its not worth it in money terms, but if you want the style and kudos then its cheap.
Its like designer clothes. You dont wear them because they are value for money.

Yeap it is worth it, as Pete said the Akrapovic isn't much of a performance exhaust but a few bhp is better than nothing. You will need to rejet to suit, I would also recommend a BMC filter to. You have to tell your insurance company, trust me they will try anything to wriggle out of paying for anything, and if it is the road legal can version you can state it is legal and not a performance product.

Mines the road legal system and made no difference to the insurance. As said earlier the standard akra can is way too long, about 600mm iirc i cut mine down to 450mm and it looks and sounds much better whilst still having the E mark on it
yup, i paid bought same for mine, no issues with insurance and didnt need/get it re-jetted-sounds awesome :)

Be sure you get all the springs and the manifold attachments.
I also have a BMC filter you might be interested in Gavin.
