View Full Version : Kill Bill
I realise I'm a bit behind the curve when it comes to Quentin Tarantino but...
Just watched Kill Bill tonight (had the DVD for ages - just waiting for the right moment) and finally watched it.
Absolutely staggering. Typical QT blood fest...but...the soundtrack was just incredible...
...and then the last words!!! I was nearly in tears.;)
I also have Bill 2 on standby. Whilst I appreciate that on many occasions a 2 movie is rarely as good as a 1...I'm quite looking forward to how the plot develops.
Hey - no spoilers please!!:smt019
Okay - that's it. You can all carry on now. Laters y'all.
i liked 2 ......... that is all

I watched the first one. Utter tosh. Its just an hour and a half of a guy m@sturb@ting, and if I want to watch that, well lets just say thats what the interweb's for.
Yea, 1 is good, but 2 really completes the whole story.
Keep your eye out for the..... nah, only messing. :)

I watched 'Planet Terror' the other night..its certainly not the Tarentino film I was expecting. It was Smudge that recommended it....I was laughing so much my sides hurt. Recommended cheesy zombie film..class

That's the rodriguez half isn't it?
Death Proof's cool, it's a bit like Kill Bill, he's just made the film he wants to make and sod everything else. It's just one epic homage/reference. Which is good obviously  I wants me a white 1970 Dodge Challenger.
Ah yes Dusk till Dawn, another no excuses no holds barred gore fest, nice.

what you really want is to dig up the old 80'/90's films like Bad Taste and Brain Dead, now they really are classic gore fest...never mind this modern riff raff..lol
natural born killers tis the bestest

its not directed by tarentino but by robert rodriguez . tarentino directed death proof which was released as a double bill at the flicks in the usa. tarentino and robert rodriguez have done a film together "from dusk till dawn" tarentino did the first part and robert rodriguez did the vampire part. anarak rant over ;)

Because the two films were supposed to be part of one cinema release, I guess, so they're both linked... But Rodriguez has writer and director credits. Tarantino's in it as Rapist #1
