As it says in the title. Took one off my SV but now thinking of using it for my next bike whatever that may be. Can they be transferred?

Not *any* bike, but most, yes. Some require a special fitting kit and certain components can't be reused on another bike, but all of the things you should need can be bought from scottoiler's website and are very reasonably priced (£10 should cover everything you need and P&P, easily)

What bike are you thinking of, or haven't you decided? Be aware if it's a new bike that it does void the warranties of some bikes (Aprilias and Triumphs, IIRC), but you could always remove it before making a warranty claim.

HTH.

Yeah as Ceri said, Scottoiler will fit almost any bike. I fitted a second hand scotty to a pointy, just needed to buy new tubing and delivery nib from Scottoiler, about £5.

If I buy a new one from the NEC show, will it fit an SV out of the box?

fits pointy out of the box, needs a special T-piece for the curvy. The t-piece for the curvy is free from Scottoiler, if you buy from their stand they should have one to give you.

Thing needed for curvy (http://www.scottoiler.com/pc/Motorcycle_Spares_;am;amp;_Accessories/Tee_Connector_-_6mm_%28Part_7c%29.html)

Itll be either to fit a Street Triple or Kawasaki Versys at the moment. My mood does change monthly though

When you buy the one you want speak to Scott-oiler and they will be able to clarify the correct T-piece needed.

Cheers for the info

Simes, ill not be making any final decision until the test rides. It was upto 5 bikes but its down to 2 at the moment. Could go back up again though if a test ride is easy accessible. Ill start with the Triple I think

It's fairly academic really, even if the T piece doesn't fit you can drill an inlet rubber, or even just do what I did and seal the smaller type T piece around some self amalgamating tape and hose clips.
