N.C.P. carparks for bikes?

anyone use them, are they safe?

its a one off as i need to attend a course in cardiff, the bike would be alarmed, and disc locked, but no chain

they always seem a bit dark for my liking

although i read that you can ride around the barrier to avoid paying;)

Ive parked my car in NCP numerous times and its always been ok ;-)

The NCP near my work doesn't allow motorbikes :-(
