View Full Version : Anyone doing exams this week?
I'm sitting 3 exams this week for a professional finance qualification (CIMA), on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
If I pass all 3 then I've only got one more exam to go; if I fail all 3 then I get the sack!
I'm absolutely ****ting myself and am not looking forward to it at all. My mind has turned to mush and I want it to be next week.
As always I'm doing pretty much everything bar revise; I've had enough now.
Just wasting more time by wondering if anyone else is going through a similar pain?!
Similar pain - My contract ended 2 weeks ago. I want a position using c#/.net or sql.
I used both in my last full time role. But since then I've been doing other things (um, breaking bones in strange countries etc) so I've forgotten all the important stuff.
I'm sat here with loads of books & course & sql exam questions cramming everything in.
...and I may get a contract that uses some other technology (i.e. asp classic) so all this cramming may be a complete waste of time.
...and I wish someone would give me an interview!
Got 2 of my ICSA exams next week, last day of work tomorrow as i am then on study leave.
Currently i'm in a state of there is nothing to worry about, but i'm sure this time next week when i have an exam Tuesday Morning i will be ummmmm whats the term bricking it!
did one this morning
i passed

good luck to all that are.....
OUCH, Three CIMA exams? You're brave. I'm about to start on CIPFA having just completed AAT.
Its the rules. When you get to the strategic level you have to sit all 3 together, for the first time at least!
I was offered the chance to do CIPFA, but chose to do CIMA as its a lot more transferable into the private sector, with no disadvantages in the public sector.
Unless your dead set on CIPFA for whatever reason, I'd consider changing to CIMA.
