Ok I have a box of Wall's Cornish Icecream but I don't wish to eat it on its own and I really can't think of anything - that I've got in - that will go with it.

Ok I've just thought of chopped bananas and honey, but COULD NOT think of anything at all before! So I'll have that.

Anyway on that note, what do the people of the .org like with icecream to spice it up a bit? (So I can refer back to this thread next time I have a mental block )

I like Ice cream with a flake in it (well I would), but my sister says she likes hers with a Marine in it. She said something about 42 Commando, but I must confess that she lost me... :smt003

Stir it so it's creamy not runny, vrumble in a flake and stir in....gorgeous

OR

Crumble a couple of digestive biscuits in and pour on some strawberry sauce.....lush!

OR

An old fav from being a kid.......just pour neat blackcurrant squash or vimto over it.......always delicious!

Am hungry and thirsty now. I wonder if Stretchie will settle for a three course ice cream dinner???

Take some ice cream, wack it in a blender, add some sort of drink (whatever your preference, use alcohol for a fun day :P) then add some sweets, makes one mighty fine drink.....

Go into the freezer section at Lidl and get your self a tub of the Vanilla ice cream. Blue tub, full of real vanilla, really creamy and Stretchie and I both agree it is cheaper but far better than any other of the big famous brands. It simply is the best vanilla ice cream you buy!

Ha ha..

When my Sister and I used to meet up in Plymouth, we would go for Ice cream or chips on the sea front and always have to cruise past the Marines Barracks. Big strapping guys with big strapping machine guns... :smt067

I suspect all of that will change now though, both of us got engaged. She met a guy who is in to sailing dinghies and I found my lovely Carol.

Mind you, you would remember my Mother if you had met her, it would have taken ages for the stubble rash to subside on your cheeks! (I know mocking the menopausal is mean, but it is also very funny!:bom:)
