New to the world of bikes so I was thinking it would be wise to get some crash protectors for the engine/fairing, bar ends and swingarm just in case I drop the thing! ;) The bike is a fully faired K6 if this helps. Looking for info on best brands, how to fit/ ease of fitting (if DIY - torque settings?) and where to buy. Cheers in advance.

As DangerousDave said in another thread (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=121397), unless you want to drill your fairings the only ones any good that fit are R&G. See here (http://www.rg-racing.com/browseBike/Suzuki/SV650_FullFaired/2006_%28K6%29/CP0124BL.aspx)

They come with full instructions to fit and are an easy DIY install.

If you are willing to drill your fairings then get motosliders. Cheaper and more effective.

+ 1, Motosliders are much more effective and cheaper!

You get then from either Nate at Motosliders (http://www.motosliders.com/) (currently out of stock) or from Blair at SV Racing Parts (http://stores.ebay.com/SV650-Racing-Parts), both I fully recommend.
