You can glue it in place if you want too, the screws will soon rust and look horrible.
The screws need to be about 1cm away from the end of the front fender, look at the lip on the fender extender and use that as a guide to how much room you have. Also space the screws out evenly.

Anywhere you want really.
However many screws it comes with (3 or 4) space them out equally, but make sure you get one at either end (left and side and right hand side)
Finally, make sure they don't foul the tyre.
so anywhere on the fenda as long as it's around 1cm in so two on the front and one either side sorry about this.

And if you're holding the fender extenda in place while you drill it......make sure you don't drill through one of your fingers

Use silicone sealant. Much easier and you don't have to drill holes into your nice painted expensive front fender.
done it all sorted i made the pilot holes and it was for me looking a bloody pro job i was surprised it didnt even threaten to crack at all then carefully put the self tappers in and the job looks a good un i marked the holes out with pen first then covered with a bit of masking tape and it was a peice of **** so today i fit my bellypan and extenda saturday its rear hugger and the best bit a nice fuel exhaust bring it on as always cheers to the org for the much needed help without which i may of hashed the crap outta my bike cheers.

Ah, my drills extension lead doesn't reach that far....
Get some glue from a car shop, and something to clamp the two pieces together... or maybe a helping hand from a local orger?

Carbon or Carbon Look? I would guess the latter as this is more common.
If it will match the belly pan then go ahead, to be honest mate it is your bike and what suits your taste is all that matters in my opinion.

I got some of those little black plastic pop rivets when I ordered my tail tidy and used them, as they were spare - No chance of those rusting. Originally, I used the double sided tape that was already attached to my extender fender when I bought it, but with all the road carp that gets under the mudguard, it started to loosen and was hanging to one side - that's when I decided to use the pop rivets. If I didn't notice it coming off whilst cleaning my bike, then there'd be an extender fender lying on the road somewhere in Hertfordshire.
