Bad thing? Was in the base of it, round about where the airbox slides over the top of the carbs. Only on the front though.

I think that is to catch dust etc. It's put on the filter

It weren't there last time i had it out lol. Sorry forgot to mention that.

As part of the emission controls and safey the oil blowback for the SV goes back to the airbox, so oil is perfectly normal. Lots is not good, normally means you have over filled your oil.

Check your oil level, if you over fill it can blow out through the breather.

I had oil in my airbox when I checked mine. Did a post about it and was assured it was normal.

Oil in the airbox is common with SVs, whether wheelied or not, and as long as it is residue or a small amount there is nothing to worry about.

Not with stock filter, and if oil from an aftermarket filter is all inside the airbox you've used way too much.

Bit of oil is fine.
