It already has halogen bulbs in it. H4 bulbs are 'halogen' bulbs. Can you describe what you want to achieve?

+ 1, the best upgrade is Osram Nightbreakers.
Are you thinking about the HID kit, you have to fit the entire kit to get it to work.

ok, a 12V bulb will be a halogen bulb. There are loads of con artists out there selling cheap halogen bulbs that have been painted blue as HID. They ain't. The osram nightbreakers are an excellent upgrade for the money.

What i was talking about is those bright blue Xenon bulbs. I was just wondering if i was to just switch out the bulbs will it burn out my wires etc.

As i'm a student and a bit tight on cash i decided not to go all out and just to put a set of "Halfords Extreme Brilliance" bulbs in my curvy. They're supposedly 90% brighter than standard, they are definately brighter and for 20 quid for the pair (buy one get one free atm) they're not bad value. You should have no problem just upgrading the bulbs themselves, they're all designed to work of the some voltage and wattage etc

Specify what sort.
If they are drop in replacement then they're probably the cheap tat that's just a normal bulb painted blue.
If you want a cheap upgrade get some quality bulbs from osram or phillips, nightbreakers, silverstars and the like. Cheap upgrade with no penalty to the electrical system! (They are same wattage, 60/55)
