It does say the 'For Sale' Section is for SV related stuff only.

Hmm. Maybe I didn't post it there in the first place then.

I stand by my comment about moderators though ;)

A pedant could argue that as sports-oriented Suzukis sharing some common components with the SV (not to mention the popularity of GSX-R front end swaps), the GSX-R family are 'related' to the SV. ;)

Sure. The SV is the GSXR's poor retarded cousin.

I agree - but as it was an observation rather than an insult, oh hater of SV's :)

Although I will retract it - but only to substitute "Marmot" for Chimp  :smt008

That's more like it. Besides, your SV don't half look like a Kawasaki.

And, to get this back on topic, 3800 quid. Roll up, roll up! 3800 quid!

Actually, my SV looks a lot like an SV - one with all the front plastics broken, but still an SV :)

And if I had 3800 quid................

The Serpentine may be freezing over, and the Fountains in Trafalgar Square may indeed be solid.

But I am sure its still well above freezing in Hell..........

I managed to insure it OK with 1 year's NCB, 6 (then 9, damn you unmarked car) points and a CD10.

Worst you can do is get a quote for it. H&R and Motorcycle Direct tend to be quite competitive.

For location and pics, see the first post in this topic. As to a swap, no thanks - I'm selling it so I can replace it with a thou, a 600's not really moving in the right direction.

Really nice, if I had £3800 I'd be tempted to trade it for that!

At whoever said it was really comfy- is that true? I always imagined them to be like riding an sv with a bad back, broken wrists and cramp in your calves....but worth it ofcourse

They are surprisingly comfy (if you want agony, try a camping trip on an RGV. Ouch) - I've taken it to France and Belgium with no problems. If anything it's marginally more comfortable than the SV I had before it, certainly on the wrists.

You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried. Gixers are traditionally one of the most comfortable bikes in existence. When I had my GSXR1000 K1 I could spend all day riding it and still feel fresh as a daisy when I got off. The first time I ever rode it I went from Belfast to Bedford and was totally unfazed by the riding position.

My daughter did 34,000 miles on her GSXR600 K6 in 18 months; she bought the bike because it was so comfortable when she test rode one. She's now got a 600 K8 and says the same about that.

Cheers, that's surprising - I'll keep that in the back of my mind.
Does anyone know anything about kwak zx6rs? When I'm ready for a beastlyer bike and can bare to stray from the v-twin it's going to be a toss up between a gixxer and a zx6.

I had a K2 600 which I could ride all day in comfort (the SV gave me dead bumcheek ache after 3 or 4 hours). The K6 I have now isn't as comfy but Ogden's K4/K5 is lovely. £3800 is a fair price, hope you sell it soon

I am always quite impressed by the seating position on gsxr750's, its not as racey as the 600. feels quite comfy...bit more racey than the SV, but not a stupid amount. And sooo light.

That's the lovely thing about the 750 - there isn't a suitable race class for it anymore so it doesn't have to try to be the sportiest thing around. It's just a very, very good road bike.

Wouldn't say it's particularly light though - compared to the other toy in the garage it feels like it's made of solid lead! ;)

I'm confused, I'm pretty sure (at least on later GSX-Rs) that the 600 and 750 have the same dimensions....very little differences at all between the bikes...
