Group buy: Optimate IIISP millionth edition

I have the chance to buy a job lot of Optimate III SP millionth edition desulphating chargers. (Millionth editions are black in colour and come with a free extension lead and wall mount bracket) they also contain the window hanger bracket and everything else supplied with the regular III SP

They work out costing me £24 each... anyone interested?

Carriage I would guess at around £3-4

For less than the cost of a new battery it's got to be worth it, when I saw these I immediately thought of you guys!

OK, I'll start at the beginning... About a month ago I called in to get a battery in this place local to me, and got talking to an old friend. I saw an Optimate on the shelf and we got chatting about prices, he told me he couldn't really discount single items much, as they are mainly a wholesaler, so gave me a price based on me taking 15.

Due to a very busy time at home i've not got around to posting about it
Went in today to see the guy, he has none left and can't order any more for around about a month (due to shipping charges, they order their stuff by the pallet and havent got a big enough order to put in yet)

So unfortunately (and yes, I feel very guilty now) I won't be able to get these for 6 weeks or maybe slightly longer. :rolleyes:

Anyone still interested, PM me and when he rings me I will contact you. I will also resurrect this thread when the time comes.

Can I just point out that I got all of the above (expect the different colour) for the retail price of just the charger directly from Accumate (http://www.accumate.co.uk/) (the people that make the Optimate and all its other named brand alternatives).

I think Batterymans firm will be at the Ally Pally show so perhaps they will have a stock of chargers at bargain prices there????
Ive seen them sold at shows for £30---£35 so anything under that would be good.

I have plenty of the new optimate 4 at £32.00 inc vat to org members only. Price is for collection here in Enfield or at the Ally Pally show at the end of month. If you want it delivered, haggle with Debbie, but I think it will be an additional £4.99 to ship DHL.

Also good stock on the cheaper Oxford Oximisers £18.50 inc vat, delivery as above.
