I'm not changing the habit of a lifetime on your say so :)
I've already ticked the box of sliding on ice this year. Don't intend to do it again. Can't really promise the safe bit. Can you define it a bit more?

Not me...
dont think I'll be out until spring now... (Dunno why I bothered re-taxing it!)
Fair weather rider and proud of it, Ive done my Hard man biker bit years ago... never had a choice then... no car.

+1. Also done that recently on hail.

I have a car, just hate using it with a passion, plus the Mrs needs it to ferry the kids backwards & forwards. Wouldn't say I need to use the bike, but wouldn't say that it's anything to do with being a "hard man biker" either.
As for the safety, I have a sticker on the fairing quoting my daughters words to me... "Daddy, I'm worried you'll hurt yourself on your bike again."
But seriously, for those that aren't used to riding on slippy stuff, be careful!
I thoroughly enjoy driving my car. It helps to have a decent car though. If I had to drive the gf's Ka on a regular basis I'd run a hot bath and slash my wrists.

Cage for me all the way now. Specially since I am trying to sell my bike and cage to buy a newer cage :D.
Zuky had her one and only slide down the tarmac and she didn't like it so she told me to put her in the garage and tuck her up. Honest she talks to me LOL

It's a cold bath.
Brrrr, no way.
I think I'd have to think again before committing suicide if it ment getting into a cold bath?!
I mean.. It'd be cold! :smt120
I had 3 wobbles on way to work tonight, I blame the grit. the roads are not particually damp, nor is it particually cold.
Quite - if I'm topping myself, I'm at least going to be comfortable while I'm at it!

Good shout out Daz.
Some parts of my commute are like a skid pan, I must look a right tw@ hanging off at 20 mph so I dont stack the damn thing into a bus shelter full of miserable looking folk.
bit scared of riding with a new front tyre this weekend, I hope sunday is dry, even if its only for a bit, so I can get some scrubbing in done.
Had a spin-up on a manhole cover or something when pulling out of a junction today, real nicky hayden stuff
I've got the same problem - brand new rear tyre, no real opportunity to get any heat in it to scrub it in. I don't think nailing it hard in first down the Kennington Road is really going to do the job.

Why not drive the Ka off a cliff or into something solid... that way you kill 2 birds with one stone.
Ay twas quite slippery today, but fun. Mine spins up in 1,2,3 & 4 before I realise Im being silly and back off. Noboby around as I use some very very quiet roads to commute. Its great in the summer. I have a van from Dec 1st until mid January so will clean the bike and put it away until next year after this weekend.

Driving a Ka is not a comfortable experience.

No but you'd be doing a good deed getting it off the road, and surely some measure of satisfaction knowing that that particular box would never drive anyone else to suicide.
