Whoop Whoop I'm back on the move after what feels like an absolute age from being away from it. It's not fully fixed up but it's up to a point where it's road legal. Here's some piccys of it in it's current state.

What have you done to fix it ? 8-[
Still no crash bungs :( And how have you survived for soooo long off the road.
Otherwise

The crash bung is missing because the order has been delayed till Wednesday. So instead of keeping the bike till then he said I could us it till he gets it in. Then I'll pop it back and he will spend 30 mins putting the last few things on.
The reason it took so long was because he was unable to source a master brake cylinder within the UK. As for what's been fixed:
Broken clip-on and all switch gear taken off and Flamin Squirrials one put on.
Mirror broken, new ones put on.
Master brake cylinder trashed new one put on.
Front sub frame all bent so that's all been straightened.
All the old brake fluid dumped, new stuff put in and system bleed.
Think that's about it. All the rest that needs to be done is cosmetics like the front fairing, inner fairing and one half of the rear fairing. But due to the small amount I earn that sort of stuff has to wait till I can afford it. :D
I'm just happy to be back on the road, being separated from my bike has drove me mad. :p

welcome back to the road nothing with a few battle scars it gives a bike character
Nice one chap, take it easy :)
That looks so very different from the sorry specimen you posted a few weeks back.
Well done S:D
Ahhh - and there was me thinking you may have taken the chance to rack up the suspension and given it a set of knobbly tyres all ready for a bit of off-roading. ;)
Seriously - good to see you and bike back out and about.

Nah, it's a far better adrenalin rush with normal road tyres on.
Thanks everyone for your well wishes, it's good to be back on the road. Just £507 left to go till she's fully repaired. :D
What will cost £507?
Top fairings are only 180 quid new.

94401-17G00-YKY COWLING BODY (BLUE) £291
94630-16G00 PANEL COMP,METER £44
56500-16G10 MIRROR ASSY, REAR VIEW £47
Rear Fairing: ~£60
DB Screen: £65
I could cut the cost down to £382 because the rear fairing only has a crack in it which could be repaired, but I personally prefer a new panel rather then a repaired one. Also the Zero Gravity double bubble screen is not essential but as I've always wanted one I cannot think of a better time to get one fitted while the upper fairing is being replaced.
Prices come from Robinson's Foundry.
Why not keep an eye out on ebay mate? Much cheaper that way.

What are the chances of finding a 2007 upper fairing in pearl vigor blue that is unmarked and not broke? I've been watching ebay since my crash and it seems if your bike is not curvy, silver or black then there isn't much in the way of fairings.
I think I've just found a inner fairing which will be great news if I have. I'm also going to stick a post up in the wanted section for the mirrors because the cheap mirrors I brought off ebay are rubbish!
Fair enough, keep an eye out though, might be able to save yourself a fortune.
Think I've got a scuffed upper fairing in the garage off my old one, but I have a sneaking suspicion that its the other blue.
I really ought to get my backside into gear and find out what bits I've still got lying around. I didn't get any of the old spares from Feb, but I'm sure I've got some upper plastics from an earlier tarmac interaction which might be useful to someone.

Orose, if you have the upper fairing inside plastic that goes around the clock that you want to be relieved of then give me first dibs.
Number 10 on this link: http://www.alpha-sports.com/spst/2007%20SV650-S-A/10.htm
Will have a look later on, but I have a suspicion it might not be intact.

Hey, what happened to Smeggons? :(
So you'll be on the beast on Saturday Scott? Now that Skips sadly not bringing his other half I assume he'll be on his Krap, er Kwak, and Sean on his, we might get a decent group foto.
No need to tell you take it easy though is it Scott? [-o<

You can call me Smeggons if I can call you Diesel Boy. ;)

If I don't fall off before hand I will. ;)

I agree, Skips bike, Sean C's bike and my bike would make a stunning group photo.

I officially ride like a pansy, but I'm happy about that. :D

Errrr but your bike is a pointy :smt019
Nothing wrong with riding like a pansy, no point pushing too hard, especially in this weather.

Cant argue with that ;)
