Hey everyone, need a fancy dress idea. The theme is any musician from any time. Any ideas would be appreciated. The only ideas i've had so far are one of David Bowies many personas, a member of Kiss or Chuck Berry. Any ideas welcome, no matter how stupid or difficult to replicate... Cheers in advance.

Gary Glitter would be funny. Need to consider "public reaction" though. :smt083

Rules

- Has to be a real musician or highly comical
- If not a good costume idea one needs to be added at the bottom of each post.

E.G.

Spice girls (again :))

that doesn't start with girls silly  Not sure about this derail of Binky's thread, you sure it's a good idea Binky or should we take this elsewhere :p

Maybe we should change the rules slightly, so tis a musician that starts with the last letter of the last word?

So you said Spice Girls, I say Shakira?

Oh and Binky, what about dressing up as Elton John hehe

I need ideas. Keeping it in here's ok. I feel no one would comment in here otherwise.

I'll continue from Catatonia

Remember the cover to The Beatles Abbey Road? They are walking one behind the other on a zebra crossing.

Well - Red Hot Chilli Peppers did the same thing - except they were wearing a single sock each to protect their...bits.

Cheap, easy and but you would need to be quite brave...

Alternatively, have a look for photos of Freddie Mercury - he wore some outrageous costumes and some that may be possible to clone for fancy dress.

The common theme is that they are all singers / musicians that will provide a funny outfit for you to put as much effort in to as you want :D

I only suggested them cos that's what I'd attempt if I was dressing up as a singer :smt083

Maybe i misinterpreted them as all being of a different ethnic origin and therefore harder to replicate. My bad.:D
