how could you leave your bike in the cold like that...you meanie!
couldn't you tuck it under the tent thing behind it?
Even our seriously rusty SRX gets covered, but only cause theres no more room in the shed....even then all three in the shed have a cover over them
your No. plate's shrunk in the cold ;)

The tent thing is in fact a bike cover... with a bike in it.

that's a brillant excuse, thanks :)

Lovely pic.... think that should be entered as a "caption contest"

it does 110 miles every day (snow notwithstanding) and there aint much point covering a wet bike. So its very dirty and cold but not entirely neglected - unlike the covered one which is slowly rotting away (owner struggles to walk atm, much less ride a bike).
now stop making me feel guilty! :smt019

well, your right in that respect. Not much point in covering wet bike...
You have a guard dog instead;-)
Sorry didn't mean to make you feel guilty :-)

Hehe, seriously though that poor bike! Frozen solid, surely can't be good for it?

Hehehe he'd need a sidecar. He's a bit of a big boy for one of them pet tank bag thingies. But its a good excuse to buy some Doggles
I'm sure its not good for the bike but there's not much I can do. At least in -5 temperatures rust should occur very very slowly. And when the ice falls off, most of the dirt goes with it :-D

Hmm but don't you find things seize or do you just lather it up with grease and WD40 :-D
If your hound gets Doggles please put pics up

Nope not posted for years. But I've been snowed in for 3 days now and I'm bored.
Great to hear you again. I have a TRE resistor wire you made for me stuck in a kitchen draw for years and never got around to fitting. How many miles has the SV done?
Ratty
TRE? stunning workmanship there  but isn't really worth fitting. I'm only on about 21000 miles now - couldn't get out much in the summer for a variety of reasons.
The doggy is new tho. Still a puppy at 8 and a half months.

 What breed, not a mastiff is he?
yup. 10 points. You don't wanna know how much he costs to feed :(

is that yes he's a mastiff or yes im right for saying he possibly isn't :-P
I can imagine exactly how much he costs although he probably weighs a fair bit more than my Alsatian but then big dogs have flippin' large appetites anyway. You won't be giving him up 'cos of the credit crunch then :-P
Yes he's a Mastiff. We had an Alsatian before who was somewhat larger than normal, so when he sadly passed away in March we wanted another large breed. And there's no way we're giving him up for anything!
Gratuitous puppy shot:

He's lovely, I love big dogs they really are the best sort. So is he an English Mastiff?

I agree totally. Big soft ones. And this one really is dopey :) and slobbery :smt110.
Aye he's an English Mastiff.
good to hear from you again Bob.
don't be a stranger from the mighty .org
Oh I've been lurking for a very long while. Don't think you can run off to the Falklands and back without me knowing :p

Hehe. You shouldn't keep a pointy outside, an innocent passerby might accidentally look at it and be offended.
Nice dog. A mate of mine has one (named tiny...) and that's a right daft lump of a hound. Usually comes over to say hello and plonks his head on your knee, which is lovely apart from a) he drools and b) he has just taken on the hobby of rolling about in silage and anything else that whiffs a bit.
right daft lump of a hound
A technical and accurate description of the breed :-D spot on.

A guy round here ended up with an "accidental" litter of mastiff/golden retrievers. But by some genetic wierdness they were MASSIVE, at 2 year old the one he kept was 3" higher at the shoulder and a stone heavier than the mother (mastiff), but just a super-sized version of the golden retriever. Very nice dog.
