creative destruction :smt102 or creative decoration ????

Cheers Mark.

the Father Christmas is a candle, therefore it can be set alight and burnt in the same way the other two candles are alight...

creative destruction...

created to be destroyed, maybe... only a rough guess.

Surely if it had been part burnt or perhaps a lit match in frame, it'd be as the title suggests, as it stands its potential destruction, no :smt102

Richie you are indeed correct ... created to be destroyed ...

if I had started to burn Santa (oh my gawd that sounds terrible!) as I had intended, yes, it would have maybe removed the doubt or the potential destruction that was by inference alone..

However... my missus bought the santa candle and if I had indeed done the aforementioned symbolic burning to eliminate the doubt expressed.. I can assure the forum I was left in no doubt where santa would have been placed thereafter...

is this a bloody photo competition or what !!!!!! jeeez....

I'll get me coat...

I'm still working on mine, looked a few things on my wandering around London, but I'm having trouble with the light. Namely, to much with a low sun in the wrong possition.

My understanding of "creative destruction" is something that has been created but in doing so has had a destructive influence on the environment? for example a modern building smack in the middle of a row of 17th century historic buildings?

Tyres are made to be destroyed and what better way to destroy them then a bit of creative riding hence the bike in the picture (bit vague but what the hell) .

The only editing is the rear number plate has been blanked.

Some nice idea's, but hope you don't mind me saying this....

Before anyone jumps out and grabs some pictures of the sun, be very careful. Direct shots of the sun can be very damaging to your camera, it can damage the internal sensor. Just a friendly bit of advice. :)

stepheng
17-12-08, 01:02 AM
hmmmmm....

an interesting dilemma there?...
as yes, it would be a creative destruction within itself .....

you are absolutely right B1rd... you should never point any lens straight at the sun... apart from possibly frying the electronics you will screw up your eyesight....

so don't do it !!!

A bit of a turn around on the theme, not altogether relevant but mostly sentimental. ;)

Due to serious racing injury he was on the brink of being destroyed 14 months ago...
...then saved only to be abandoned last winter...
... finally given to me 6 months ago as between us we had four good legs and both limped the same way! ;)

Today was the pinnacle of the bond we have created, as he gained his first 'Clear Round' rosette - the biggest horse bouncing over the smallest jumps, there were 6 yr old kids on teeny ponies who didn't even come up to Leo's shoulder, but we didn't care.
I am the proudest person alive today and my face hurts from grinning so much.
