Someone I know has been sent an email by the BPI via BT to say that he has been seen P2P file sharing a COLDPLAY track !!! Violet Hill to be precise...never P2P Coldplay stuff, theyve got trackers on em n all sorts bythe sounds !! + theyre **** !:cool:

They have been collecting IP addresses, the problem is some of the IP addresses have been spoofed. It was in the news as they had been mailing loads of people, even some from the older generation who untill they got the letter didn't know what p2p was.

Did you know Joe Satriani is currently suing Coldplay for ripping his material off?

I wouldn't have thought Satch was the most likely candidate for an indie bland like Coldplay, but I'll be rather amused if he pulls it off.... (the lawsuit, that is)

Apparently it's Viva La Vida- allegedly rips off If I Could Fly, from Is There Love in Space.

Haven't heard the Satch album for a while, not heard the Coldplay song at all- so I can't judge the justification in it. Might do some digging, though...
