I was offered £1900 over the phone for my sv off a dealer when enquiring about a sprint st 1050 is this a reasonable price - I bought it for 2K last year as the dealer selling marked it up wrong and I argued he should sell it at the advertised price. question is could I get more selling private or is it best to take the deallers offer?

without knowing anything about condition or mileage hard to say but seems like a good price for a minter from a dealer

I bought my K4 SV650S private about two months ago for £2000 so that sounds a good price to me from a dealer, they will probably put it up for around £2500.

I sold my good condition 30K mile old K3 naked for £1850 about a year ago. That's not a bad price to be offered a year down the line and in the current climate.

I've just traded my K6 in with 28K on the clock for 2300, but apparently book value for it at that mileage was 1700. Mileage is the key, after condition, so if yours is low you should be able to get a bit more than that.

£1900 seems to be the average price for a K3.

Ask them for their best price without p/x and make sure your getting the best deal. They are offering big discounts on the Sprint especially new bikes as its an older model, luggage is expensive, worth having and should be included as standard. Have you got one in mind?

I got £2100 for mine a few months back to a private buyer. I'd say that's a very fair price.

Just a sliver one at windy corner used but only 1300 miles on the clock heated grips etc etc. not sure about the luggage but I have a give v46 box in silver anyways. Will see about the discounts for new wonder what they will do? cheers for the info, only other problem is after the bike show the f800 st was really nice to sit on and cheaper than the sprint new....
