Sorry to hear about the bike, still, at least you're OK... SV650 or Hornet would be the obvious shouts here I guess, I hate the Hornet engine but I wish I didn't because they're brilliant otherwise... Old Fazer is more fun than you'd think. Working on lower price ones here obviously... CBR600F?

Sorry to hear about another off on Org.

Commuting. at best a half fairing to keep the weather off but won't be too expensive if you drop it or it gets knocked over. If you're slipping through traffic then the Sv is hard to beat except by a single, which possibly won't be much of a fun weekend bike.

Depends on your budget and of course you're insurance will go up now.

well im considering getting a spanking new gsx1300r in orange and black, not really a commuter but will have a grin factor lol

as to money.. well i for one havent seen any evidence of a credit crunch

I know of two lads who (insanely) commute across london on 'Busas, so it is possible. :)

the fairing is scuffed to hell, the swing arm has been thrown out of alignment the indicators are gone, as is the foot peg and surrounding assembly.... just waiting for the insurance's engineer to confirm my bike shops analysis

Unlucky muck, never good losing your bike. Glad to hear you are ok.
Lot of people are raving about the ER6 Kwaker, unusual looks, but sposed to be a cracking bike

Yeah swingarm being a bit stoke-on-trent would worry me as you don't know what it's done to the frame.
