I want to create a Jukebox Audio CD so that I can have loads of albums on one cd for in the car. But I'm trying to get rid of the pauses between the tracks.
If I go in to Nero Express I can make a jukebox audio cd there, but there is no option for the pause between tracks. If I go to Nero Burning ROM there IS an option for "No pause between tracks" but I can't see the jukebox option anywhere.
That sounds confusing when I type it out
Is what I'm trying to do possible?
See here (http://club.cdfreaks.com/f109/gapless-audio-cds-heres-how-102739/). That should sort you out. :)

That FooBar doesn't let me keep each separate folder. It just puts every track into one long list

Is your car capable of playing though different folders? Most aren't. I'll have another think about things...

Yes. It has separate buttons to skip folders rather than tracks

Right, let me get things straight, are you essentially just burning a disc full of MP3's, separated by folder, and having ideally no pause?
Or are you converting the MP3s to CDDA, then burning them?

Sorry Baph just noticed your reply. Yeh I'm just burning folders of mp3's. But I want to get rid of the pauses between songs

You can't. There, I've lowered your expectations now so that when someone comes along with the answer you'll be well chuffed :)
Seriously, I don't think there is a way a car stereo can pre-buffer the upcoming track for gapless playback.
You could rip them as one giant mp3.

You could also try using MP3DirectCut/mp3trim or something like that, but there might be silences between tracks as they are buffered.

TBH, this is my thought too. Put the MP3 CD into a computer, does it have gaps or is it all pre-buffered by the software? If it's seemless, the problem is the car CD player.
The problem with one huge MP3 is that the play order would be set in stone.
Still got my thinking cap on though... I'll get back to you...

from nero express. Dunno if it works for MP3 tracks.
Generally speaking its not possible todo unless ( as Baph has already said ) you do one long stream.

Hmm. On the original cd the tracks are merged together. (It's an album)
I've ripped the tracks and if I play them in WMP it goes to the next track seamlessly. So I shouldn't need to trim anything off the tracks

I'll find out tomorrow
Is it just me that reads this thread title as "Help with Neio please"

When I play the original tracks on the pc it is seamless. When I play the burned cd in the car there is a pause between tracks. When I play the burned cd in the PC there is a tiny pause, but not as bad as in the car. So it must be the cd players fault :(

Yup, CD player in the car is causing the pausing. Dig out the manual (or google for it), since it reads separate folders there's a chance that you can change the pause duration.

Had a look in the manual but nothing like that. It's a quite old cd player. I'll just have to live with it. Cheers for the help
