...cos we have just bought this

http://www.salopleisure.co.uk/index.php?id=8&tcid=2108

I'm really excited about it. Plan is to park it somewhere not that far away - there are some fabbo sites in Herefordshire and around Ross-on-Wye - and weekend in it, with a week or two some place else.

And I shall tow it everywhere at 30, hog the road, and be completely unmoved by bikes trying to get past:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Sounds like we have a reason to ride out after the Boxing day meet to me - between us, we'll probably have a lot of petrol, and almost certainly a few smokers :p

Errmm, I'm afraid Ed, that you won't find Dyfed anymore, it's gone back to being Pembrokeshire, Camarthanshire etc.

But just you keep out of Pembrokeshire, it's where I head on the bike.

(paintball gun at the ready!)

Thought Dyfed was Ceredigion?

Thought Dyfed was Ceredigion?

I think that's the old Cardiganshire, but they always use the Welsh. Anyone one here from there can correct me as I'm not 100%.

Wel tis the county I'm temporarily living in atm, and I use both Dyfed and Ceredigion in my address. I'm doubting myself now though lol!

You also need to forget it's there when driving, pull out turning right in front of bike, in situation where doing it with just the car would be pushing your luck. The extra length of the caravan means you will end up blocking the whole road and the bike has nowhere to go but through the side of your tupperware mansion. :D

Absolutely:D

I'm so looking forward to this:D:D:D

Don't worry I'll be sure to do the usual trick of hammering past your door 2" away at 10,000rpm. If it makes your face bleed you shouldn't be driving a rolling chicane.

You going to tow it everywhere or plonk it on a site and travel to it whenever you feel the urge? There are some really good sites in southern Herefordshire around the Herefordshire / Gloucestershire border. Forest of Dean sort of area. Any good for you?

Who says solicitors have no money? Credit crunch? What credit crunch!!

Yep - plan is to stack the fridge with beer, tow it to around Herefordshire and block the A49 in the process, and do weekends. As re credit crunch oh I assure you I'm not immune:( Price was a steal though:D

Pikey Ed. I like that:p

As much as I take the ***s out of caravans and their owners, I've always fancied the idea of a camper van since a young age and now would quite like one with a bike trailer on the back. I saw a ludicrous motorhome in America (one of those "size of a bus" luxury ones), with a huge (single garage sized) covered bike trailer on the back that had 3 bikes in it and was also effectively a fully equipped workshop. The chap appeared to be servicing one of the bikes in there!
