Another fella I was working with had it bad too as did one of my bosses. Get well soon. Oh and day and night nurse works a treat.

i've been feeling pretty shoddy since friday, failry similar but not rear end problems thankfully.

on a slightly seperate note (and a slight old man rant, lol) why "man flu" you sound genuinely ill and are really just getting on with it. why has this 'label' been put on us hard done by blokes? ;) it's just one of those sayings that really gets on my proverbial breasts!

hope you're feeling better soon kwack

Yes, one of my team had this. Doc said it was 'Stomach flu' which you can look up on NHS direct.

Knocked the stuffing out of him. So proper ill, not 'Man flu'.

get well soon. I've got a cold, so I'm feeling pretty carp too, but not that bad.:(

Man down; has hit me hard today. I've been feeling off for the past 2 weeks, but today I've struggled to do anything at all.

Hot flushes? Perhaps you are pregnant? :p

Ahh no way, Hot flushes are indicators of Menopause. :smt019

Trust me I know...:(

As to why a guy would get them, it has to be either a fever or removal of the hormone producing glands that produce Testosterone.

Hmm, so come clean, which was it really? :smt044

Having been really ill last Christmas with a chest infection and no access to a GP, all I can say to raise your spirits is at least you're ill this week and not over Christmas.

I spent all of last Christmas flaked out on the sofa, hoping I would get better and I didn't until I went to see the Doc. Then my holiday was over and I had to go back to work :smt019

Still I got to watch loads of films whilst everyone was out :)

It'll pass in a couple of days, then you'll be alright for Christmas :p

Then all the weight you've lost can be put back on by stuffing your face with turkey and xmas pud.
