What stands out this year for you, what you have done, achived ect?

For me this year has meant growing up alot and taking on more responsibility at work. I've achived more than i could have hoped for but am aiming higher for next year, lets hope the pay rises in Jan reflect this . Also buying my second new bike the GSXR600 was another fine move and am still loving it more than ever, do miss the old SV and would love one as a second tinker bike!!

And what are you looking forward to next year or looking to achive?

I'm looking forward to the summer, the first ride of the new year and exploring some more of this country hopefully meeting a few more people off of here on the way. Also funds allowing i'll be adding a few more mods to the bike which should make it even more fun. Another thing i'll be doing next year is working towards that ever growing deposit needed to get on the property ladder.

What have you enjoyed about this year and what are you looking forward to about the next? Try and look on the bright side of life too!!

Not been a terribly eventful year, more one of getting life back on track- finally got my leg to the point where it doesn't really hold me back much, starting cycling again has been a huge thing for me, we never really knew if I'd be able to do that. I think that'd be my real highlight, returning to the land of the able bodied.

Not sure what to look forward to next year, it's going to be an interesting one work-wise if my office closes as expected so I'm just not really making plans just now. But I don't feel like there's anything holding me back this year, which is a damn fine feeling!

What stands out this year for you, what you have done, achived ect?

Getting back on a bike after my accident, learning to start a resh again after my split with my ex-got new job etc, helping my family deal with with all the traumas weve had so far, meeting my soulmate-and making it work although the odds were against us, working my way up the call list at work and achieving my monthly targets

And what are you looking forward to next year or looking to achive?

Getting out on the bikes next year, hopefully a few track days thrown into the mix, and just generally a more relaxed & quieter year, looking at starting to learn to drive aswell

This year: Feeling loads more confident in my job and thus being put on some very high profile and important jobs and also having some highly experienced people in my field phoning me asking for advice.
Passing my bike test and meeting some very cool and nice people. NW4 was one of the most amazing weekends of my life.

Next Year: Going out on tours regularly and enjoying being out on the road. Going out on my bike a lot more. Hopefully buying/renting a house with a garage and increasing my bike stock. Roll On 2009.

Love to you all.

This year has been a baaaad year for me and im indoors. STRESSS STRESSS oo did i mention stress!
Final year at uni, hip replacement for him, mental breakdown for me.
He did pass however. BUT some bloody good weekends on the bikes
So some of this year has to be swept under the rug and forgotten about(even though you can see the bulge in the middle:p) but some will be remembered for years to come.

Next year....new career for him, us rebuilding whats left of us. Moving house i hope, new beginning[-o<
oooo and some even better riding:cheers:

this year...

i reached the grand old age of 40, had a hooge party! and as a treat i travelled to Las Vegas then onto New York. 'twas the best holiday i've had, loved both places equally had an absolute blast.

other than that has been a relatively quiet year for me..

next year, well i guess its going to be one of consolidation. hope to keep the job i'm in - which is ironic considering the number of times i've threatened to get something else - as the economic climate is pretty grim right now. i've no big holidays planned, oh other than hopefully going to Vegas with the lads but going on what i've just said about the economy that seems as far off as it possibly could be, but hope springs eternal

love peace and crisps.

This year :-

Managed to bang in a couple of really enjoyable holidays, Paris & Switzerland.
Learnt that my CBR made me ride like a tw@ with a point to prove and that its not clever, so, got meself to a more controlled state but still enjoyable on an SV.
Bar a few arguments, learnt that Kayla is definately the one for me forever (ahhhh :)).
Really started hitting high demands at work and am reaping the benefits of it now :)

Next Year :-

Aim higher with job, look to get exams passed and either consolidate myself in a better position with my work or move onwards and upwards to somwhere else.
Move out of home cos I'm just a liability to my parents, they are struggling to live as it is without having to tend for me so best that I give them a break and move in with my mate and his missus with my missus, though a couples houseshare doesn't sound like paradise, it will do for a while
Then get my hoped for new toy ready for the summer to go back to Switzerland on and have another fantastic holiday :D

Work - I merged my business with another because I couldn't carry on doing everything myself. So far so good:D

Bike - chopped in the D650 for a D675. If I'm brutally honest it might have been a mistake. Sure, it's a fine capable bike, that comes with the turf. Only, it's far more capable than I will ever be and I'm not at all sure it's the right bike for me. I've loved every minute on it though, it's terrific fun - the triple howl is so-o-o-o-o addictive - especially at 12K rpm:D

Next year - looking forward to irritating everyone with our caravan!!! Change of bike possible, I'm thinking Sprint.

What stands out this year for you, what you have done, achived ect?

Hasn't really been overly eventful apart from realising that I am actually more capeable than I thought at my job. Ive managed to take on more responsibility and do pretty well which has been reflected in about 3/4 payrises over the course of a year.

And what are you looking forward to next year or looking to achive?

Continuing to put together enough money for a deposit on a place to live with matt. Going to see the Northern Lights & changing jobs to get a more diverse range of experience before applying to do the clinical psychology doctorate course in september 2009.

This year two huge events stick in my mind, one happy, one sad. Buying the Duke was a huge thing for me. I've never spent that much money on one thing EVER! I still can't believe it sometimes:D

That led on to the one very sad thing though.............the decision that we couldn't afford to keep my beloved SV too.:( There were so many memories wrapped up in that bike. My one consolation is that bits of him live on with other orgers.

Next year................who knows. Lots of miles and lots of smiles I hope, even more than this year.:D

THIS YEAR: Coming through a big motorcycle accident & living & still wanting to ride. Doing a couple of track days & feeling good.

NEXT YEAR: I certainly want it to be better than this year on all fronts. Hope to get my finances back on track after losing so much money through the accident. Want to go racing in the Formula 400s, but dont think I will have the cash to do it. Get out & do some more road riding in the nice weather we are going to have in 2009...... I can dream though
