I haven't recieved one at all, from anybody this year. Must be the credit crunch...
Anyone else noticed anything different this year? For me:
- no christmas cards recieved
- no christmas decorations have gone up in my west london office (but they have in north london)
- all the cards my parents have recieved have been really tiny

We received our first christmas card from Reg D. on the 3rd of december and it was addressed to Carol @ our proper correct postal address (although no one called carol lives here anymore?). Vicky wondered what we should do with it, so I stuck it on the fireplace... Ho ho ho!
I'm not particularly fussed about christmas, I spent 6 hours at the white rose shopping centre yesterday so I've had enough now.

had one from my parents, and one from her nan,
but ive not sent any either.....
I'm sure Matt is getting you the biggest one you have ever seen. I expect it is so big that it is being delivered by special courier because it is so big.
Eh Matt?
Oh and I never get any anyway. Except from my employers that is. Like that doesn't even count.
Getting a card from your employer with no cheque inside is like a kick in the teeth.

With lots of moaning, swearing, dodging all the retail zombies and appologising to people for *accidentally* kicking them in the back of their legs (walk at normal speed or get out of the way).
It was the longest 6 hours of my life.... and I still haven't finished all my shopping yet
i have received lots. not sent any, but so far received 20/30? summic like that
this is a willy waving competition, right?

Nah Maria, dont go getting all paranoid now hun.....everyone still loves ya!
I honestly think more and more people are thinking that the whole card giving thing is a pointless waste of time. Eons ago when people used to write letters to each other it was nice to get a card at this time of year but i think since the emergence of the interwebnet thing more and more people dont waste time or money on pointelss bits of card that only go into recycling a week later.
If they are close frineds you'll probably see them sooner or later and say "bah humbug"* to the personally...if they aint that close then why make the greetings card makers any richer for something that means very little anyway?
* insert your own seasonal thing if you must but thats my choice :D

Yea...yes. Yeah! Good plan! That'll make her smile and a big card is better than more expensive shoes as a present right?
