I went to see one of my customers today and took him out for some coffee and then lunch. He had three coffees two diet cokes and a class of water. I was with him from 10am to 4pm and in all that time he didn't urinate once, despite drinking all of the above.

Well we have/had (not sure it still goes on) a little 'rights of passage' here up north.

To pass from boy to man you are required to drink 10 pints of beer/lager without going to the bathroom.:smt009 You enter the pub as a boy and leave as a man.....They should do a 'Rocky' type film about it :)

I only ever completed it twice, once in Newcastle and once when I passed on the tradition when I lived in Preston. To be honest it’s the worst pain I think I have ever felt. But it does start off a good night!

Funnily enough this was only a male thing, most likely because most lasses are not that stupid.

Odin, we used to do a similar thing called the '100 club'. 100 shots of beer, one a minute, for 100 minutes. No toilet breaks allowed. It's only about 7 pints but it really hurts after a while. One lad got to about 130, he had to practically crawl to the toilet with eveyone who'd already been, trying to poke him in the stomach. 'Twas funny!
