Just got back from three weeks in South Africa, what did I miss?

Hope we managed to keep it mostly shiny side up during the cold snap...:eek:

haha, it felt a bit rude to announce you were planning to spend three weeks in sunny warm weather just before that spate of minus temperatures hit the UK

but if anyone's interested we had a clean sweep, sunny and warm every day, never wore anything but shorts and shirt

on a related note, KTM really missed a trick with the long way round/down thing, EVERYONE and their mother rides a GS1200 there, even people who aren't pensioners!!!

as little as possible...family medical stuff meant i haven't taken a break since may, so i needed to unwind

in retrospect i should have taken my kitesurfing kit out there as we were only a mile or so from one of the best beaches i've seen, and being the western cape it blew every day...
