Does anyone know of a company that can do low volume custom head gaskets?

The reason I ask is I have recently acquired a big bore kit for my NC23 a whole 80cc more. However due to the size of the bore the actual sleeves and piston diameter are now bigger than standard. Thus I have a little problem a standard gasket will not fit.

So I have a choice of soultion...

1) Carefully using the Dremmal eek out 3mm round each of the sleeves gasket until they fit, problem is shaky hand syndrome.
2) Contact the manufacturer of the kit see if they have some, problem is the kit is no longer produced and I'm not sure if they produced a gasket for it originally.
3) Get someone with a good milling machine to give me the results of solution 1 but with out the wobble, but who can do this?
4) Find a company that will make me a fresh gasket to my spec, problem with this could be cost due to the low volume.
5) The Org suggests.

If it helps I have been given the gaskets that were previously used on the bike, just standard NC23's widened by hand.

how much is the gasket?

If it's cheap give it a go yourself or by the sounds of it phone book and look locally. Failing that find a Mechanical fitter to make one for you ( if you know one, i know 10 :D).

I don't think that the gaskets a that expensive, £7 or so.

Thinking about it I might pop down to Piston Broke in Bristol in the New Year. Strechie (and in a slightly roundabout way I did as well) sent him some work from the 'Cat and he was quite helpful...

perhaps someone like jhs racing may show an interest?

If you hang on til tomorrow then i'll ask someone who will know but i'd imagine you'll be better off going to someone like JHS who'll be at the very least be able to point you in the right direction.

I used to make big bore head gaskets for aircool Suzukis from annealed copper sheet, obviously the gasket you need won't be as simple but the principle is the same.

Not had a chance far to busy in the orifice at the moment. It will probably be more towards the new year before I get to do anything properly with it. But do find out what your guy recommends, like I say no rush.
