I received the DVD via love film the other day. Its in the 'too be watched' pile for those 'naff all on Christams TV moments'

The greatest film i have ever seen, he symbolises everything that i love about biking. Even more significance for me is that my dad is from new zealand and has actually seen his workshop in person and told me all about, so awesome.

Excellent film, Hopkins does a great job on it.

The book too is worth a read, it explains basically he didn't do the run in the film on his first go but on one of his subsequent returns when he set the record.

Well worth a watch and a read.

I watched this the day before it was on the haunted picture frame over the festive period. I didnt know anything about the film before i watched it and i must say that i, as well as verna, thought it was a brilliant film. I must admit that i did think he was going to die all the way through the film!

You're right to ask. DVD's aren't always the same title as the films that are on them. Like when they released Cinderella on DVD it was called Mad Max ;)

Very funny haha! but Im talking about the documentary DVD about Bert Munro - Isn't that what this thread was about - the footage in you tube or have I completely lost the plot? ;) Does it have the same title as the Dramatised film? second thoughts I might just as well go and google it :smt115
