Christmas music in shops

Not heard any this year & I've been deliberately going into shops listening.

Tried Oxford Street, Clapham Junction & Sutton Coldfield. Not a sausage.


At least the bloke in the kabab shop wore a Santa hat.

try tesco in watford! was about ready to murder someone yesterday!

and saying that, try working in a shop over christmas with that racket going on for 8 hours every day! and its not as if they even change the cd!!!

Its not awful Its the same 24 records played every god damn year, it drives me nuts especaillya s it seems to start around October!

The few shops that i have been to are all playing cristmas crap!

Agree with Viney. One CD on continues loop. I'd be much happier going into a shop that had no music playing at all.

I've heard less this year. It's nice to not have it all in your face all the time. The same with adverts- they're a little less...loud and jangly this year.

I still love some of the best xmas songs, so a reprieve from the media will make that all the sweeter!

Yes but if someone happens to like xmas and enjoys all the xmas songs then it just helps to put you in the festive spirit! :D

I was just finishing my christmas shopping today, bizarrely every shop I went into was playng Grace by Jeff Buckley. And not just Hallelujah, all the rubbish miserable ones as well.
