Yes indeedy. I train 4-5 times per week about an hour per session. I break my workouts down into these split:
Chest/Biceps
Back/Traps
Legs/Abs
Shoulders/triceps.
Works for me. :)
Of course diet is also hugely important so I make sure I'm getting good quality protein every 3 hours. Tough sometimes but I seem to manage it.

Spot danabnormal (http://a6.vox.com/6a00c2252999c6f21900e398cc95fe0005-500pi) at the next meet :p I almost got into it but devoted my time to my project car instead and now it's gone to the SV. I really need to get into it to strengthen my body for crashes if anything.

Guy in the middle MUST be taking something.
Well how else do you explain the 4 arms?
Sad to say but I used to train alot - years ago I may add.
Just kinda got into the habit and the social side as the folks down the gym were a good laugh... then found that I was actually rather good at the whole lifting thing and was pursuaded to start seriously training folr under 21 powerlifting...
... then bust my leg and kinda never got back into it after that.
I could actually bench-press about 225lbs (just over twice my own body-weight at the time ) and manage 4 sets of 10 reps comfortably.
Bit of a freak really - as I still looked like a skinny little wretch too, just never seemed to put on the muscle bulk despite increasing the weight lifted.
Recently got a home gym thing and discovered that I can still bench more than my housemate - and he's 6'2" and 17 odd stone.
Just don't challenge me to arm-wrestling - I'll cheat and kick you in the shins as I never could get the proper technique down pat.

I lift some weights at least once a week, not the real heavy stuff though as I am not into bodybuilding just keeping myself fit.

That is surely a fake, there is a limit to how far muscle will grow!

Yep I bench 100kg's on my last set but only about 4-6 reps. You must be huge then, I goto a bodybuilding gym and the only people to lift that kind of weight for 10 reps for 4 sets comfortably are pretty damn huge (bigger than I will ever be). If not I would say the weights were empty. ;)
I too was into powerlifting when I was younger until I had an accident during trianing and crushed one of my lower vertebrae (sp?). I still suffer 10 years on but I can't imagine life withouth lifting!

took me a few minutes but LOL
No. I do push ups, crunchies, leg raises and sit ups. I have a small 10kg wieght that I do reps on just to even out the muscle training in the arms.
I'm interested in lean not muscle.
Muscle is just for posers.

I used to bench 120kg many moons ago. 10 reps per set, I was never huge, just reasonably muscley and freekishly strong! Recently got back into it and managed 80kg whilst on holiday with nobody spotting me (had myself worried on the last rep as there was nobody in the gym!!). I never used to be able to put on much weight but as I've got older my metabloism has slowed (to a sloth like speed!) so now I've had to start training again to hide some of the flab!!

Don't forget, I'm talking 'old money' so yeah, 225lbs = about 100kgs right?
No, I was teeny tiny and only weighed 7st 10lbs (108lbs = 50 kgs?) back then. Just was lucky to never really put on the bulk so would have been a terrible body-builder. Lean, yes - 'defined', yes - looking like some East German shot putter, no (thank heavens as I'm really don't like the muscled woman look!).
No fibs, I was just a freak.:smt083 Which is why my coach and I would clean up when it came to making bets with new guys to the gym that I could bench more than them.

Wow, that's impressive. At my peak I could bench around about 150kg's but we're talking about 5 sets @ 5 reps with a spotter just in case it goes wrong (which it did once and I almost squished my windpipe). That took 5 years of training to get that far and it was all un-done is seconds. :( My body had been telling me for some time before though that I was getting close to what is possible with my naturally small frame. I think for most of my teenage years I was about 8 stone. I looked like a right wimp, and then I found...........TUNA!

I did training for Power lifting on the bench press for about 8 months, got upto max of about 85KG competition lift. Only trained 3 times a week... I weigh 63KG so not bad I guess... Not like some people here do.
I trained with a guy who has been doing power lifting for an age and does international lifting (bench only as its relatively safe) his best competition lift is 160KG, I think he weighs about 78KG...

Sorry to hear you got hurt, tis dangerous when you get to large weights :(

Aye, that's to do with the training you must have done, If you do high weight low reps you build strength and don't bulk so much, if you do medium weight with medium reps you bulk... Low weight high reps and you tone. Of course by reps and weight I mean relative to what you can lift.
*sigh* I'm afraid I must disappoint, yet again. ;)
Right, I'd assumed that to lift 100kgs you'd have to be built like Arnie and as I'm not Arnie I figured I'd never be able to press that much weight.
However....as you say you've achieved it (and you're not Arnie...unless Arnie trolls on here under the alias of K) then I'm gonna have to give it a shot.
My current max incl barbell is 72.5 kg...This may take some time.
